I'm sure it'll be good or decent, like the last ones, though I'm not sure I'm liking the consistency of their style. I mean, giving two cel-shaded 3D games, then a 16-bit retro is somewhat charming, though strange.

While I can respect the retro style, it's a bit too retro for me to be super excited about playing. If they had stepped it up from classic Nintendo to Super Nintendo retro, I'd be in... not really my thing, as it is.

i think the soon to be released 3th episode was intended to be a 16bit remake from an 8bit game for more then just nostalgic reasons.

think about it. if they really wanted to they could make this game look like any popular SNES RPG out there, but seeing how 1992 (snes releaseyear) was mentioned in the trailer aswell as the official revival of their game i think the style's just PA's subtle way of hinting to their die hard fans that the series has been brought back from the dead thanks to the input of their loyal fans

gotta love those guys at the penny arcade forums sometimes.

16-bit rpg goodness, zeboyd definitely has a customer in me
Gonna have to buy the previous games though too.
The style's kind of weird, some scenes look like they were pulled from entirely different games. Definitely see some influence in design from ff5, ff6, lufia, and brainlord though

Oh, they made the Breath of Death VII game? I haven't played the other one, but Breath of Death was pretty good (if short, but very cheap so it doesn't matter).

Though this is a huge departure from the first two Precipice games (graphically speaking anyway) >_>

Funny; it's not on my Game Marketplace. It would be listed on the RPG list right?
