THQ will not have a booth at this year's E3, but the Saints Row publisher insists it will still be present in other ways.
Despite this surprising and rather unfortunate development, a spokesperson for the publishing company notes that THQ will still be participating in judges' events and hosting the press:
"We're not producing a booth, but we will be participating in E3. We will be showing games to the E3 judges at their event coming up, and we'll be hosting a press and business center at the show for meetings (as well as participating with first party activities)."
For those who don't keep up with industry news, THQ isn't in the best financial situation right now, though the publisher is making drastic changes in an effort to overcome its troubles. Earlier this year, they announced plans to stop making children's games to focus on new "core" IPs and existing franchises that have proven profitable, such as Saints Row and Darksiders.
