I beleive I have made a find. I was searching through the Badlands today and something crossed my mind after seeing a poster by the theatre. The poster said "egein hex". Suddenly something popped into my mind. I figured that egein meant Ed Gein, who was a killer in plainsfield massachussets. I then thought of the chainsaw killer in the game. Ed Gein used a chaisnaw to kill one of his victims in the case file I read a long time ago, and I pulled it up recently. (located a bit below)

Anywho. Ed Gein inspired the movie The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I found that througout the badlands, stuff from the texas chaisnaw massacre pops up. Here is a list:

1. Abandoned Wheelchair - symbolic of the wheelchair-bound Franklin in TTCM.
2. Chainsaw - also features heavily in TTCM.
3. Meathooks - Leatherface's house has meathooks hanging from the ceiling (TTCM)
4. Killer's house and carved up Glendale - In the final scene of TTCM, the woman escapes the house and leaves in a car similar to the Glendale, which gets chainsawed as it drives off. The house Ed Gein lived in and the car he drove were similar to this too.
5. You supposedly meet him in the woods - where two people lost their lives to Leatherface in TTCM
6. Mass grave of bodies - go figure
7. Panopticon - A prison where the most vicious murderers went to die.
8. Movie title in the nearby Angel Pine cinema - 'Chuffed to pieces'
9. TTCM References in other Rockstar material - In Vice City, Leatherface was a costume for Tommy to be used in conjunction with...you guessed it, the chainsaw. Another Rockstar game, Manhunt, features a similar character, showing the teams liking of TTCM. The website also states that a crime may have taken place there, possibly referencing the fact that, in TTCM, the police knew a crime had taken place in the forest, but they didn't know who was behind it.
10. 'egein' in the hex - Ed Gein, the chainsaw weilding psychopath. This proves he's somewhere in the game

Okay, so Rockstar has a thing for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and most importantly Ed Gein. Here is his case file:

Please, I advise you to read through all of it to understand. There is a part especially where it mentions a house, shed, and pickup, which you can find in the game (forgot where). I also a while back saw the official movie, "Ed Gein". I remember some things from the movie that are slapped into the game.

The house that you saw in the case file appears to be a house in the game. The File mentios Pine Grove, located near Ed Gein's cabin. If you look on the game map, you will see "Angel 'Pine'" which is located right by "Shady Cabin". Also the fact that there is a shed in the game with blood on the floor. The case file also tells something just like this.

So with all this put together, Rockstar pretty much made The Badlands, all Ed Gein material. If Rockstar put all this in the game, they had to have put in a person like Ed Gein, and that must be what is hiding somewhere to be found, inside the woods.
