The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker review
The perfect game!

The good:

The gameplay and the story are fantastic, just like the sound and visuals. Anybody that says the graphics are bad obviously hasn't played this game.

The bad:

It's not as difficult as previous Zelda games, and it's a little more repetitive. And, for a FF fan like myself, the lack of a timer prevents players from figuring out how long they've actually played the game.

Finally. The perfect game. It's been a long wait. There hasn't been a game like this since FFT, at least not one that I can remember. Many games came close (Metal Gear Solid 2, for example) and others missed the mark. But the wait is over. The game everybody has been waiting for has been found!

First, let me say I've finally found time to put the game down and write this review. That is why I've decided to make this short. I can't waste too much time, can I? In fact, there is so much to do, I found it very difficult to find the time to do anything else! The game itself will take hours to complete, but it doesn't end there. The incredible number of side-quests and mini-games will add 100's of hours of gameplay. The Nintendo Gallery alone could easily take days to finish!

The sound and visuals are amazing, quite possible the best I've seen on the Gamecube (sorry, SSB!) Back when "Link's" new look was revealed, people were... disappointed. After playing the game, I know that Nintendo made the right choice. I can't imagine this game looking any other way. The story and gameplay are just as good. The only thing that isn't that good is the replayability. Either do everything the first time or don't do it at all. It's just not that fun doing the same thing twice, especially when some things could take days to finish.

I give Wind Waker a perfect 5 out of 5, but if I could give it a 6 out of 5, I would. I might edit this later. If you think there is something I missed or should add, just PM me. But for now, I'm off to play more!
