Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards User Reviews

The good:

I like the way the cards have different effects than normal and the fact that certain types can kill other types no matter what the attack is. great storyline just like the tv show except some differeces since you have to duel the people.

The bad:

the graphics could be a little better and there could be more magic and trap cards and more cards altogether.
They could give you more deck points after each battle.

Summary:

You get to walk around battle city and duel your favorite people from the show including my favorite mako tsunami. Story is made exactly like the show but the only difference is that you battle certain characters instead of yugi and joey battling them. Like marik and odion. There are a lot of different places to visit in battle city including the aquarium and the pier which are unlocked throughout the game. Different cards types can beat others no matter what the atk or def is. like a light monster with 100 atk could beat a dark 2000 atk monster. Each monster has a strenght and a weak...

Entertaining

The good:

~You Get to Battle With the Egyption god cards
~Everything that happens follows the Show
~Lots of cards to pick from

The bad:

~You dont get to Duel With the Winged Dragon of Ra
~Its Short

Summary:

This is the first Yu-gi-oh game i've Played for GBA. Its actually a very good game, Despite some bad reviews. The Only problem is that its very short. I beat the game in 2 days and you never get to duel with Ra. Very Disappointing. But the Story does follow along with what happened to Yugi in the Show. Except that you're in his place.

There are many Good cards to chose from, But for a lot of them you have to sacrifice to summon. There are a good selection of magic cards, and they have many Ritual Cards, like the BEUD Ritual. Very cool. Also you get to have Obolisk and Slifer to duel with. I...

Almost amazing

The good:

This game allows you to play along in a story line, using some un-accesable cards and the gods. The graphics are very good.

The bad:

Well, there are a few:

-Regardless of the japanesse cards included, the best cards are ignored such as mirror force.
-The effects of some cards are also changed, such as monster reborn.
-The point system makes the game un-neccessarily long and time wasting.
-The hand is limited to 5 cards, and the deck is limited to 40.
-Rituals take ages to set up.
-Stupid element rules

Summary:

Well, the game came close to being excellent. There are many errors, and if this game were to be combined with EDS or STTDD, the game would be far better.

A personal point which annoys me is the fact that like all games where you walk around and have others fight for you, the game draws your character as a man with a cap on backwards and a back-pack.

Overall, very good idea for a game, but just to many weaknesses and bad game structure, using very unpopular rules.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards

The good:

You can finally have the freedom to walk around and you can battle with the great egyptian god cards.

The bad:

The dueling isn't so accurate, you can't use The Winged Dragon or Ra, and there's nothing to do at the end of the game.

Summary:

Duelists grab your deck there's a new challenge in Battle City. You can finally walk around instead of picking your oppenets, and you can collect over 900 cards three of them including Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormenter, and The Winged Dragon of Ra. The game is pretty accurate to the Yu-Gi-Oh! show but there are some key things missing like going to the virtual world. The egyptian god cards are finally useable in the game but you can't use The Winged Dragon of Ra.The dueling isn't at all accurate it's much like the one in Dark Duel stories. Anyways if your a huge fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! ...

yugioh sacred cards

Summary:

this game is pretty good but it has 1 bad part in it which is that the game does noit go for that long u'd be able to clock it in 3 days if you were a first timer. the good parts of the game is it is not that far off from the reel story line on tv and the graphics are also good. this game will keep you plating it over and over again. so all in all the game is kinda tuff to beat. so yeah overall i brought it on the spot after i tryed it on my friends gameboy advance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!...

god but not that good

The good:

2 only 2 god cards(can't use ra) and can walk around

The bad:

almost everything else is bad. Deck captivity is very stupid. ELEMENT PROBLEMS: high level monster like gaia the fierce the knight(atk 2300) could be defeated by a hinotama soul(atk 500)because fire beats forest

Summary:

the game looks nice but it's not. i brought this game with my allowence that i saved up for weeks. i was dissapointed.they added alot of unessesary things like duelist number which stops you from using cards like harpie's brother unless it high enough. fusion monsters where either made to regular monsters or ritual monters. Rabid Horseman became a regular monster, and blue eyes white ultimate dragon became a ritual monster. i got mad at this stuff and only kept the game for about 1 week so i suggest You buy either buy Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship Tournament 2004 orYu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Editio...
