ONE OF THE BEST GAMES OF THIS ERA!!

The good:

Basically everything:The graphics, the storyline, the movie scenes, battle system, variety of skills, the summons, the exploration, name it-it has it.

The bad:

HAHAHA NOTHING GOES HERE ^^

Summary:

I really enjoyed the storyline. Personally my favorite char was Kos-Mos (of course) and also I thought Chaos was friggin powerful. All Chaos's angelic and heavenly moves kicked butt! he could change his outfit tho.... The battle system with turn based was excellent. I thought the variety of enemies was in good supply. The different skills were sweet to watch. The graphics in the game were very good and in the movies they just straight up blew meh away! The different weapons rock too, I enjoyed watching kos-mos blow em all away with a swift attack. And Jr. with his guns a blazin was pretty s...

Xenosaga: Episode 1

The good:

Xenosaga is really fun! It also has alot of cutscenes which I like. I am not very good at video games, so, games that are more like movies are fun for me. I was very happy with the money I spent on this game.

The bad:

If you don't like it where the characters talk for a long time, this game might not be for you. The game also is a little on the slow side. But, give it a chance, you still might like it.

Summary:

This game was alot of fun! The characters are entertaining, and the story keeps you wanting more. At first I didn't want to play thia game cause I'm stupid, but once I played it I was hooked. I couldn't get enough of this game. I can't wait till the second one comes out. I will be up at dawn to get the second one.( and im not a morning person!)I HOPE EVERYONE GIVES THIS GAME A CHANCE! Believe me, it's worth it.

one more thing.... ^^

Summary:

Give KOS MOS better Tech Attacks!!! I would prefer tech attacks with more brillant lights and effects. (like X-buster!!) Screw the R Drill and R Dragon and R blade. Those are horrible!! If this is in the future than give her something else than a bloody drill. You should give her that Phase Cannon as a last tech attack. THAT WOULD BE PERFECT. Yaaaaaaaay. I know I'm picky and horrible, but I just your game so. Thank you!~

the full review (after I beat the game)

The good:

the lengthy cutscenes ^^ (I like long cutscenes as long as it is action filled goodness and not 10 minutes of talking) Thankfully, most of the cutscenes were action filled ^^. Only a few scenes with a lot of talking.
the large environments (they're so big that they actually have directions on how to find certain areas... sweet!! ^^)

The bad:

With so many cutscenes, why the hell weren't the developers smart enough to allow you to view them whenever you want?

Summary:

Wow. So I finally beat Xenosaga after lots of RPG goodness ^^. So what do I think of the game? Well, the cutscenes are mostly excellent except for the occasional lets talk for 10 minutes about the plot scenes (which I guess you need anyway). The battle system is of course very well done, but I have to say that I'm not quite fond of the boosting part. It seems like the enemies can boost much more than you can and I just find it annoying having my turn stolen by a gnosis or whatnot >_<. I like my turns grrrrrr. The minigames are excellent (as long as you get rid of the drill game which is the...

Episode I

The good:

-Graphics
-Music
-Characters
-Storyline
-Battle System
-Play Time

The bad:

-Nothing

Summary:

Xenosaga is actually the first in a six-game (I think) series that started with Xenogears on the PSX, which was actually Episode V. The storyline, much like the Metal Gear Solid series, has been stretched across quite a few years now.

Xenosaga is a great game and awesome RPG. The graphics are brilliant, the game being on a PS2. Also the music, while it gets repetitive, is very catchy. The characters were extemely unique and each was relevant to the storyline. Since there were only six characters, it was much easier to concentrate on the storyline. The storyline plays a big role in Xenosaga, ...

Namco's Role-playing Success!

The good:

Storyline, graphics, voice-overs. Very affordable price. Cinemas are nicely done.

The bad:

Cut-scenes are very lengthy. Bosses tend to be on the hard-side especially when you're not prepared.

Summary:

Xenosaga's gameplay is just like alot of traditional role-playing games. However, you can choose which character you'd like to appear as, and some events may change due to the character you currently use. You can even customize weaponry of your own A.G.W.S. ( A mech that can be used in battle. ) A simulated communication system adds a nice touch of realism to the game. Cut-scenes in Xenosaga are very graphically pleasing, but can be very long. If you're not interested in story, and just want alot of game-play, Xenosaga may not prove to be the greatest title for you. But anyone who enjoys a ...
