A solid wrestling game

The good:

Graphics
Improved grappling system
Injury meter
Blood

The bad:

Season Mode
Missing Wrestlers
Repitive sometimes

Summary:

I got this game for christmas about 2 years ago. You will be impressived with it at the beginning but after time goes on it will get boring. New modes have been brought in. First Blood and Bra and Panties match. First Blood is a cool match but bra and Panties match is a waste of time. Catch the midget match would have been better -_-

Season mode is good for the first two times but the storylines get too predictable and boring. There are certain superstars missing from the game who should be in LA Resistance, William Regal and Maven.

Overall it's only for the hardcore wrestling fan. I prefere...

Kick-ASS

The good:

-Improved Controls
-Better wrestlers
-CAW
-Moves Variety
-Season
-Elimination Chamber
-Better Submissions
-Glitches

The bad:

-Same Graphics
-Weight Detections annoying
-Kane(Graphics)
-Move-sets
-Repetition
-Sound

Summary:

This game rules and is the best Smackdown game thus far IMO. It has a good season, lots of characters and some amazing glitches.
This Game is a must have and should be bought right now.
There are some characters who have been missed out but they put the main dudes in. The new controls rule and gives the player a lot more moves.
There is lots of gameplay available here and you can go into Hell in a cell matches and elimination Chambers.
These two are the most brutal matches in and can cause your characters to bleed.
There is also a body outline that appears at the top so the player can come up wi...

As good as Smackdown VS Raw; way better than SYM

The good:

More realistic matches than SYM
The best season mode ever featuring record tracking
Great roster
Best CAW mode ever
Ability to watch or play season matches
Watching matches is ok
Has Elimination Chamber
no female menu characters
Has Stone Cold Steve Austin

The bad:

Less realistic matches than SVR
SVR has better watched matches
No management game
unrealistic rumble
Bra and Panties match
Some people may not like that the main event wrestlers have the menus (instead they'd prefer little womens wrestlers with little or no talent)
weak Hardcore match
Create an Animation mode (which reduces the available taunts for movelists)
A year older than SVR
Bad rating system
not enough for hardcore fans
bad version of The Rock and a group of legends without a single main event star

Summary:

Smackdown HCTP is still a good game to play despite being old. This is a game that will entertain any fighting game or wrestling fan who gives it a chance but it doesn't have enough for the hardcore fans.

I consider the season mode in this game to be the best RPG ever because it doesn't rely on those battle systems that involve pressing attack over and over and it is fast paced enough that this game can help prevent Alzheimer's disease by keeping your brain active. There are repetitive parts of this game's season (the storylines), but no match is the exact same as any other, so there is un...

The only pain HCTP brought was a splitting headache

The good:

Updated Roster
Slightly Improved CAW

The bad:

Crappy Submission System
Crappy Weight System
Crappy Grappling System
Basically SYM with a different name
Season is too repitive
Lot's of fake themes
Crappy Legends
Legends have No Themes

Summary:

This game gave me headaches. First off, the graphics. Amazing? Psh. I played it today and I couldn't believe I was playing a Playstation 2 game.

The new systems they put in sucked. The grappling system took too long to do one move, the submission sytems was button mashing, and the weight system was unrealistic.

Too many people had their fake theme and that was annoying.

The season was pathetic. There are a few storylines here and there and I didn't really like them. The Elimination Chamber one was alright and so was the faction one. There are a few more but generally it wasn't that good.

WWE SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain

The good:

The Updated Roster
Blood
Elimination Chamber
Fairly good Graphics
CAW has improved a bit.

The bad:

1 Year storyline only.
Legends dont have proper music.
No new weapons.
Some Wrestlers have the wrong entrance music.

Summary:

This is a good game. You should buy it if you enjoy wrestling. There are great things in this game that would keep you entertained. And although the story mode is short, it has good stories. The graphics are fairly good. You'll also enjoy the elimination chamber. It's the best match in the game in my opinion. The game lacks new weapons. And I'm dissapointed you couldnt whack a guy in the head with the title belt. But this game is enjoyable. So go buy it if you have the chance!

Here Comes the Pain!

The good:

The realism of some superstars and CAW mode.

The bad:

The musics not being the proper musics for some superstars.

Summary:

I love this game, I have contantly been on it for about a year now, I can't find nothing to bad to be true in the game but the musics are annoying. The graphics are awesome, some interactions are good, the Season mode is ok, but could be improved... The Legends were a total waste of time in my opinion. Yes, it is good to see Jimmy Snuka and The Road Worriors in the game but they just waste space. The shopzone.com mode was pointless, you could know what you have to unlock before you unlock it and choose when to get it... In which on Shopzone.com mode, the Diva loading screens were just anoth...
