Wild ARMs 3 User Reviews
-Graphics were OK, but could've been much better
-Music was too repetitive
-Storyline, so far, is cheesy
-Only 4 playable characters
Before I bought the game, I had rented it first. I started to play and at first it was rather boring, but got more interesting as the characters started to develop.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought the graphics could have been much better. Let's face it, this could have been done on the PS1. I believe Final Fantasy X was released before that and it had gorgeous graphics. They weren't a total eyesore for this game, but could have been better. The charatcers were also interesting, but their personalities were rather corny. Virgina being the young, eager, I'll-trust-anybody adventurer,...
well the good all depends on how well you understand the gameplay
for some people it's easer to understand and for other it's not so easy to understand
-RPG, style of fight
-Length (took me about 50 hours to beat it!!!)
-Difficultie (some bosses require lots of thinking and planning, while othors you can kill in one hit, Seriously)
-Graphics (these Graphics are very different that most othor games, only Dark cloud 2 has graphics that is very close to Wild Arms 3)
-Sound (sound is another negotiatable one there is only the theme song((after prolauge)) and the ending song are songs that actually have words, all the othor songs are just music((no words)))
For those who love Final Fantasy X or any other RPG this is a game to take a closer look into.
Again it's very different than any other game you've played. If you under stand the game play, controls and Story line this would be a good game.
definitly Rent it first (this is a game that looks good on the cover but is very different).
The gameplay, the puzzles, most of the music, interesting, the tools, the way you get a very fast view when you wanto look around. Background graphics quiet good. The bad:
The character appearance, they could be bigger, and how the gears would disappear when you would try to change them over. And more colour to the game would have been nicer in my opinion. The first and second wild arms was lovely and colourful.Summary:
I loved all the wild arms games and even though this one isnt perfect its still a very good game. I think one thing which may have improved this game and made it something to rave about would have been if the sand could have been turned into an ocean about 3/4 of the way through the game, then you could go and get a ship. I really like games where you have a ship and you travel the ocean. The puzzles were very good in this game, i liked most of the music, and its the type of game which will keep you playing for many hours on end. I havent played this game now for some months so i am just re...
Plot, musical score, graphics (Cel-shaded, some like this, some don't)The bad:
Some of the puzzles may leave you baffled (though I never really had any problems)Summary:
Once again we return to Fargaia (Filgaia) in this clasic RPG. Those who have played the past Wild ARMs will know the score. A dying planet, mainly made up of wasteland. In this adventure we join up with four 'drifters' (those who dare leave their homes and venture out into the surrounding desolate lands). Though they join together for their own reasons soon they are all fighting for one thing - the survival of Fargaia. Standing in their way are three mysterious beings known as the Prophets (Malik Bendict, Melody Vilente and their leader Leehalt Alceste), but are they, the least of their tro...
The battle systems ease of use and the diffrent forms of transportation, cell coloring was great. I really liked the characters unique personalities. The bad:
That backround music was irratating that whishling more so than the rest of it I turned of the sound so could play the game. The leveling up system could been more uniform.I did not like the search system having to find a certain person to give you the exact location became very teadious. The colasping stairs in nightmare castle were almost impossible harder than the last boss battle.Summary:
In conclusion the game was good but far from the standards I expected. The story line hasn't changed very much has it, from Wild Arms 1&2 get creative.
The most significant letdown was the conclusion of the game (there was no payoff) You don't see Filgaia reborn the drifters don't find fame or fortune instead they empty their guns and get shot. better luck next time. Syner
