Another Vietnam game

The good:

Plenty of weapons
Atmospheric
Cool gunfights
Quick Fight Mode
You can play as a VC
Smooth framerate
You can save in between levels

The bad:

AI sucks
Graphics are poor
Quite easy
Starts off awful
No multiplayer or online
Uninspiring

Vietcong: Purple Haze is fine as a first-person shooter set in the '60's Vietman War. There has been quite few Vietnam games released lately. First Conflict: Vietnam, then Shellshock: Nam '67 and now we've got this.

Vietcong has you controlling a small squad through nineteen missions. You play as the leader himself and you also have more people like a pointman, a medic, a engineer, radio man and heavy weapons man. You need too use your men but some of them are pretty useless.
