Not So Unlimited SaGa

The good:

The music, graphics and the wonderful FFX-2 Preview!

The bad:

Everything else... no, really.

Summary:

Okay, well lemme start off by saying that I am a fan of the SaGa Frontier series, or atleast I liked the first one but after that the series went through a serious downfall. I liked the way that the game gave you freedom to do many other things during your story as like obtaining the "Gift" for a type of magic so you can expand your magical abilities. Also to me, first impressions are EVERYTHING. I'm the kind of person that if a game doesnt impress me and keep me busy at the same time it'll bore me and I'll end up taking it back, like this game. Well to my review...

Like I said in the paragr...

Unlimited Saga...Good or BAD?

The good:

It has a very good story line to the game.... You get more characters to chose from when you first start. Also you can gain allies <Members>

The bad:

The graphics kinda sucks. The ways you walk also suck... And it takes a long time to beat ^.^"

Summary:

This game is really fun, The only thing that is
oppposing this game is its graphics and the fact that it is a maze type of game. It's like anime, but in 3D. If they just make the characters lips move a bit and use voice more often, then it'll be okay.... But the story lines are AWSOME, like the way how they have to save the world or how they just want revenge, it's awsome. ^^ I bet if this game has amazing graphics and stuff... Alot, I mean ALOT of people will buy this game. But for now, It's not like it's a game to KILL for.

Unlimited frustaration, tedium, and anger

The good:

The music, the intro movie, and the FFX-2 preview

The bad:

Fantastically awful gameplay

Summary:

The Saga series has always had a reputation for being a little different, with its extremely nonlinear stories and unorthodox role-playing. Over the years the games have become progressively stranger, but nothing vould've prepared anyone for the latest installment. To be perfectly frank, this game sucks. Unlimited Saga exemplifies everything that's wrong with RPGs today and throws it all together in one deluxe package for all to avoid like the plague.
For starters, exploration in Saga is boring as hell. Towns consist of one screen with a bunch of menus to navigate, while dungeons invol...

Unlimited Saga

The good:

The battle system, the music, the extreme difficulty, and the artwork

The bad:

It's far too cute. Why does it have to be cute?

Summary:

This game is too hard and complicated, for starters.

This means that I am the only one who likes it regardless of the painful cuteness (it burns.) It kind of recreates a feel to old classic RPGs that I have a certain obsession with.

I have nothing against the graphics and never had, it's the battles that make the game. The artwork is completely stunning as is the music.

Well, it is certainly going away from Square's other traditions, and it's no FF Tactics, But it's still ok.

In conclusion if you like an extreme challenge, don't care about graphics, and find $20.00 on the ground, you could bu...

They could do so much better

The good:

The only thing good about this game is the Final Fantasy X-2 preview that accompanies it

The bad:

Everything that happens after you select either "new game" or "load game"

Summary:

The game Unlimited Saga has unlimited errors. First of all, the game suffers from a serious lack of graphics. It isn't that the game has bad graphics, it's just that there is almost no visual game here. It occurs to me that Square Enix is trying to revive the old PC RPGs where you just move frame by frame in a text adventure, where the only graphics are the still pictures that cover the lifeless background. This is exactly where Unilimted Saga falls, what Square Enix failed to realize is that this form of RPG has fallen for a reason, there are so many better gameplay elements today that...

time waits for no one

The good:

Great artwork, reel system, music and sound

The bad:

A lot, you'll see in a moment

Summary:

Here is the deal, first if you are a big fan of the RPG's like FFVII through FFX, don't get this game. In fact don't read this review, click of this page and go to another part of this sight because this game is not for you. However, if you are like me and want to try your hands at all types of RPG, well then brace yourself. There has never been better artwork in any game I've ever played before for any system. Not graphics, just artwork. You don't walk or run or jump, or blink or anything like that. Well, ok, I guess you jump, that is the world map, your 2D charector jumps from spot to spo...
