There are a lot of characters in this game. I?m just putting a few.

Link: Link is the main character. He?s a Hylian, but lived in Kokiri Forest
ever since he was a baby.

Princess Zelda: Zelda is the princess of Hyrule. No duh. She had a prophecy

Goron on top of Death Mountain. It breaks really easy. See the Side Quests
section on how to get the Biggoron?s Sword from the big Goron?s brother.

Shields:

Deku Shield: Only Child Link can use this. It will burn up if touched by fire.

Hylian Shield: You can buy this in Hyrule Market Place.

objects.

Tunics:

Kokiri Tunic: This is just a normal tunic.

Goron Tunic: Only Adult Link can wear this. You can stay in hot places for an
unlimited amount of time.

Zora Tunic: Only Adult Link can wear this. You can stay underwater for an
unlimited amount of time.

Boots:

Kokiri Boots: These are just normal boots.

Iron Boots: Only Adult Link can wear this. You can walk underwater with these,
and wind can?t push you.

Hover Boots: Only Adult Link can wear this. You can hover across short gaps.

Other items:

Both Links:

Ocarina: The Fairy Ocarina and the Ocarina are the same, except the Ocarina of
Time can open the Door of Time.

Deku Nut: These can stun enemies.

Lens of Truth: The Lens of Truth uses up magic power, but it lets you see
invisible things and shows you if something is real or not.

Bomb: These blow up, so don?t stand nearby.

Bombchu: These are explodey like normal bombs, but they can run forward and up
walls.

Magic Bean: Plant these as Child Link, and Adult Link can use the plants that
grow to get to out-of-reach places.

Din?s Fire: This uses magic power. It makes a big fire thing go around Link and
spread outwards.

Empty Bottle: You can carry green (magic), red (hearts), and blue (both) potions
in these. You can also carry other things. Fun!

Farore?s Wind: This uses up magic power. This can transport you places in
dungeons, but it doesn?t work for me.

Nayru?s Love: This uses up magic power. It surrounds Link with a blue shield
for a limited time.

Only Child Link:

Deku Stick: You can light these on fire and use them to light torches. If you
put them away fast enough, they won?t burn up, and you can use them again.

Boomerang: This can kill enemies as well as bringing certain items to you.

Fairy Slingshot: This can shoot Deku Seeds.

Only Adult Link:

Fairy Bow: This can shoot normal, fir, ice, and light arrows.

Hookshot/Longshot: These can hook onto things like wood or targets and bring you
towards them. It can also bring certain items to you.

Megaton Hammer: This can crush rusty switches.

5. Enemies

Anubis: Anubis mimic your movements. (They go in the same direction as you.)
If you attack it with a non-fire weapon, all the Anubis in the room will attack
you. Kill them with fire.

Armos: Armos look like statues, but wake up when you touch them. Use a bomb on
them, and they will jump around, then, explode.

Baby Dodongos: These jump at you and blow up when they?re about to die.

Bari: Bari electrocute you.

Barinade: It is the third boss.

Beamos: These shoot beams at you. You can blow it up with bombs.

Big Deku Baba: This is?a big Deku Baba.

Big Moblin: The Big Moblin?s club sends out a shock wave when it hits the
ground. Bombs are good to use on it.

Bigocto: Bigocto?s weak point is its back.

Big Poe: There are ten Big Poes and catching and selling all of them to the guy
(who you see as Adult Link) in the building near the entrance of the Market will
earn you an empty bottle.

Big Skulltula: These are big spiders that drop from the ceiling when you come
near, and spin around to knock you to the ground. Attack its soft belly when it
faces away from you.

Biri: Biri electrocute you.

Blue Bubble: Make it hit your shield to make its fire go out. Now you can kill
it.

Blue Tektite: These are stronger versions of the Red Tektite. They can go on
water.

Bongo Bongo: This creepy thing is the seventh boss.

Business Scrub: These are the same as Deku Scrubs, but they sell you things if
you defeat them.

Dead Hand: Dead Hand will come when you?re grabbed by one of the hands. Attack
its head.

Deku Baba: These plant things are easy to kill. They grow back after you kill
them. You can get Deku Sticks and Nuts from them.

Deku Scrub: To kill these, you need the Deku Nut they shoot to hit your shield,
and bounce back at them. Then, you can kill them before they hide back in their
flower.

Dodongo: These shoot fire. Attack their tails. When you hurt them, they spin
around to face you, during which their tail can whack you. They blow up when
they die.
Fire Keese: This Keese?s fire will go out if it hits your Hylian Shield, but it
will fly through fire to light itself on fire again. They can destroy your Deku
Shield.

Evil Chest: Certain chests freeze you when they open. You can?t tell them apart
from normal chests.

Evil Doors: Evil Doors stick out of the wall more than ordinary doors. They
attack if you hit them with the longshot or try to open them. Kill them with
bombs.

Evil Pots: These pots look like ordinary pots, but they attack you if you get
anywhere near them.

Flare Dancer: Use you Hookshot on its body when it?s spinning to bring it
towards you. Attack that part to kill it.

Floormaster: This tries to run into you. If you hurt it, it breaks into three
baby hands. They grab you and suck out your energy. Press buttons so they let
go. Kill them before they make another Floormaster.

Freezzard: Freezzards can freeze you. If you are frozen, shake the control
stick around and press buttons to get free. Fire will melt them, but I just use
the sword.

Gerudo Thief: Before you get the Gerudo?s Membership Card, Gerudos catch you if
they see you and throw you into their prison. Arrows and the longshot can
paralyze them for a limited time. Other Gerudos you must fight to free the
carpenters. The attack where they spin around is bad, since they can use it to
push you to the ground and throw in prison.

Gibdo: Gibdo are like ReDeads.

Gohma Larva: These hatch from eggs. They jump at you, but die easily.

Gold Skulltula: You get tokens when you kill these. Kill them to break the
curse in the House of Skulltula.

Guay: Guay fly into you. They?re annoying.

Ice Keese: If Ice Keese swoop into you, you will freeze. Shake the control
stick or press buttons to get free.

Iron Knuckle: Iron Knuckles are vulnerable to bombs, bombchus, and the Master
Sword. Its axe attack does a lot of damage.

Keese: These are bats. If they fly through fire or blue fire, they become Fire
or Ice Keese.

King Dodongo: He is the second boss.

Leever: Leevers are annoying, little beasties that come out of the ground and go
in a straight line very fast before going back underground.

Like Like: When a Like Like tries to eat you, you can?t hurt it. If it eats
you, it will steal things. Kill it for your stuff back.

Lizalfos: Kill these as you would a Wolfos.

Moblin: If these see you, they will charge at you with their spears. Hookshots
work well on their backs.

Morpha: It is the sixth boss.

Octorok: These octopuses shoot rocks. Have the rock bounce of your shield and
hit them.

Parasitic Tentacle: You can kill it by using your Boomerang on the narrow part
at the top. When that part?s gone, the rest will also disappear.

Peahat: In Hyrule Field, these attack during the day. Their root is their weak
spot.

Peahat Larva: These sometimes come during the day and if you attack a Peahat at
night. If they hit your shield, they will run into the ground and die.

Phantom Ganon: He is the fourth boss.

Poe: Don?t target a Poe, or it will disappear. After you hit it, don?t chase
it, or it will float away. When you kill it, you can catch it in a bottle. It
will either replenish energy or take it away.

Queen Gohma: She is the first boss.

Red Bubble: These jump out of lava. If they hit your shield, their fire will go
out, so you can kill them.

ReDead: ReDeads will paralyze you if they see you. If you?re paralyzed, keep
pressing buttons to get away. If they bite you, they will suck out your energy.
You?re supposed to be able to get away by pressing a lot of buttons, but it
never worked for me. They are weak to fire, and the Sun?s Song will freeze
them.

Red Tektite: These jump a lot. They?re scary.

Shabom: These are floaty, bubble things.

Shell Blade: The Shell Blade?s weak point is the pink thing that you can hit
when it opens up.

Skulltula: These are smaller versions of the Big Skulltula.

Skullwalltula: These are on walls. If you get too close, they will attack.
Shoot something at them while on the ground.

Spike: A Spike will stop being spiky if you hit it with your Hookshot or wait
long enough. That?s when you can hurt it.

Stalchild: In Hyrule Filed, these come out at night. If you kill enough, bigger
ones will come.

Stalfos: Stalfos are like Wolfos or Lizalfos.

Stinger: You can kill these sting rays when they?re flying.

Tailpasaran: These can electrocute you.

Torch Slug: Torch Slugs come after you when they see you. Hit them, and their
fire will go out. When their fire?s gone, they?ll try to get away until their
fire comes back, so kill them off.

Twinrova: Twinrova is the eighth boss. The witches, Koume and Kotake, become
Twinrova.

Volvagia: This is the fifth boss.

Wallmaster: Watch out for the Wallmaster?s shadow. If it grabs you, it brings
you to the entrance of the dungeon.

White Bubbles: White Bubbles don?t really do anything. They are easy to kill.

White Wolfos: White Wolfos are like big Wolfos.

Wolfos: When fighting a Wolfos, always have your shield up. Attack it right
after it attacks.

6. Walkthrough
     A. The Beginning
After the cut scene, Navi will talk to you. Now, go outside, and talk to Saria.
Talk to Mido. He says you need a sword and a shield. You can buy a Deku Shield
for 40 rupees at the store. You can get money from tall grass, chests, pots,
jumping across the stepping stones in that pond thing, and other ways. Now, go
up the hill near Link?s house. Crawl through the hole in the wall. Watch out
for the rolling rock, and go to the chest. Open it for the Kokiri Sword. Now,
talk to Mido again. Go forward. There are Deku Babas. Talk to the Great Deku
Tree, and go inside.
     B. Inside the Deku Tree
Go up the ladder or the vines. Open the chest up here for the Dungeon Map. Go
through the door. Use your shield so the Deku Scrub?s Deku Nut bounces off your
shield and hits it. Run to it, so it will talk to you. The door will open, so
go through. Now, jump onto the floating block, then to the chest. (The block
will fall whether you tough it or not.) Inside the chest is a Fairy Slingshot.
(Up the vines to the left is a chest with a recovery heart.) Above the door is
a ladder. Target it, and shoot it with a Deku Seed from your slingshot to knock
it down. Climb up it, and return to the big room. Shoot the Skullwalltulas
with Deku Seeds, and climb up the vines to the area above. Go through the door.
Step on the switch, and jump across the raised platforms to the chest. (The
platforms stay up for a limited time.) Open the chest for a Compass. Kill the
Skulltula near the alcove in the wall. Now, step on the switches, and jump
across the platforms to the alcove. In the chest is a recovery heart.) Now,
light a Deku Stick on fire, and light the torch to open the door. Go through.
Kill a Big Skulltula (attack its belly), and jump from where it was. Try to
land on the web to break it. You should land in water. Step on the switch to
light the torch. (Inside the chest is a recovery heart.) Light a Deku Stick on
fire, and, by walking on the higher land in the water, go to the web. Burn it.
Go through the door, and defeat another Deku Scrub, and talk to it. Shoot the
eye above the door with a Deku Seed to open the door. Go through. Go in the
water. Dive down to the switch to lower the water for a limited time. Now,
ride the moving platform across the water, and get off on the other side. Kill
the Skulltula, then, push the block. Get onto it, then, get into the alcove.
Go through the door. Kill another Skulltula. Gohma Larvae will hatch from the
eggs on the ceiling at some time. Light a Deku Stick to burn the webs. Behind
one, crawl through the hole. Push the block into the water. Light the Deku
Stick on fire with the same torch you used earlier. Climb up the block and up
to where you just were. Roll over the web to burn it. You will fall and land
in water. Now, defeat each Deku in this order: middle, right, left. Talk to
the last one. Go through the door.
         a. Queen Gohma: Parasitic Armored Arachnid
Look up at her on the ceiling, and she will drop down. Shoot her eye with a
Deku Seed when it turns red. Attack her eye with your sword (while not
targeting her). When she goes onto the ceiling, her eye will turn red, shoot
her again and attack. If you don?t, she will lay eggs, and Gohma Larvae will
hatch. When you beat her, get the Heart Container, and go into the light to
warp outside.
     C. Going to See Princess Zelda
The Great Deku Tree will give you the Kokiri?s Emerald, and he will die. Leave
here. Talk to Mido, then, leave Kokiri Forest. Saria will give you the Fairy
Ocarina. In Hyrule Field, the Peahats attack at day; the Stalchild at night.
Talk to Kaepora Gaebora (owl). Go to Hyrule Castle. The drawbridge is up at
night. Go in there. Talk to the singing girl. This is Malon. Now, go to the
castle. Talk to Kaepora. Get past the gate either by paying the guard, or
climbing up the vines near the beginning of this area. (Sometime, Malon should
appear at the vines and give you a Weird Egg. In a day, it will hatch into a
Chicken.) Anyway, past the gate, go forward a bit. Go up the hill. Go across
to the left side of the castle. (Don?t let guards see you.) Climb up the
rocks. Go and swim through the moat. Now, go to the sleeping man. This is
Talon. Use the Chicken to wake him up. Push the box into the water, then the
other one on top of it. Get on top, and jump over to the hole. Crawl through.
Basically, don?t get caught by the guards here. In the Castle Courtyard, talk
to Zelda. She will give you Zelda?s Letter. Talk to Impa. She will teach you
Zelda?s Lullaby. Now, go back to Kokiri Forest. Go up behind Mido?s house to
the Lost Woods. You will have to talk to Kaepora sometime. Go right, left,
right, left, forward, left, and right. In the Sacred Forest Meadow, kill the
Wolfos to open the gate. Go through here. Be careful of the Deku Scrubs. Go
up the stairs. Talk to Saria. You will learn Saria?s Song. (When you?re
leaving, go up the ladder. In the hole is a Fairy Fountain.) Go to Kakariko
Village. Talk to the guard at the gate leading to Death Mountain. Show him
Zelda?s Letter. Now, go to Bazaar in the Market to buy the Hylian Shield. Now
that you talked to the guard, you will only have to pay 50 rupees instead of 80.
Now, go back to Kakaiko Village. Go through the gate to Death Mountain Trail.
Go up. Watch out for the Goron rolling down the hill. Go to Goron City. Go to
the bottom level. Play Zelda?s Lullaby in front of the door. Now, talk to
Darunia. Play Saria?s Song. He will give you the Goron?s Bracelet. Now you
can pick up bomb flowers. Go outside. (If you blow up the rocks in one hallway
of Goron City, it is a short cut to Lost Woods.) Go to the right. Throw the
bomb rock over the railing. You need it to blow up the rock blocking the
Dodongo?s Cavern. Go into the cavern.
     D. Dodongo?s Cavern
Blow up the rock wall with a bomb flower. Past here are column thingies that
rise and lower. First, go to that area with the Beamos, and go right. Blow up
the rock walls. Behind one is a Gossip Stone. The other has a hallway behind
it, so go in. Be careful of the Baby Dodongos. Push the statue onto the switch
to open the door. Go through. There are Keese in this hallway.
          a. Lizalfos
One of the two Lizalfos fights you at a time. Fight them like you would a
Wolfos. The door will open when they die, so go through.
(Blow up the rock wall, and go through the door behind it. This Business Scrub
sells 1 Deku Stick for 15 rupees.) There are Dodongos in here. Light a Deku
Stick on fire, and light the three torches to open the door. Go through. Step
on the switch. A door will open. Go to the left side of the room now. Behind
the rock walls is a chest with the Dungeon Map in it, and a Business Scrub that
sells Deku Shields for 50 rupees. Go through the door. (Blow up the rock wall,
and go through the door behind it. Behind the Armos is a chest containing the
Compass. Kill the Armos to open the door.) Put a Bomb flower on the empty
space between two other bomb flowers. They will all blow up and make the stairs
lower. Go up. Go through the door. There are Fire Keese. Only use your
Hylian Shield around them, or else your Deku Shield will burn up. Move the
statue away from the ladder. Go up. Step on the switch to open the door. Go
through. Run across the bridge to the next room. Be careful of the spikes. At
the block, there is a recovery heart behind it. Climb up the ladder, and jump
over to the bomb flower. In the chest is 20 rupees. You need to blow up the
rock wall. When you do, go through. Shoot the eye with a Deku Seed to make the
fire go out. Go forward. There are Baby Dodongos in the hallway.
          b. Lizalfos Again
Kill them to open the door. Go through.
Shoot the eye to make the fire go out. Go forward. Shoot the eye in the alcove
to the left. The fire will go out, so go forward. Open the Chest for the Bomb
Bag. Now you can use bombs. (If you blow up the rock wall nearby and go
through the door, there are two Business Scrubs. One sells 30 Deku Seeds for 40
rupees; the other sells 5 Deku Nuts for 20 rupees.) Continue forward. Step on
the switch to make a short cut. (One column thingy rises up here now.) Throw a
bomb through each hole on the bridge from the higher part of the bridge so they
fall in the Dodongo skull?s eyes. Now its jaw will open. (Behind that rock
wall is a chest of 5 rupees.) Go through the door in the Dodongo skull?s mouth.
There are Fire Keese. Go through the hallway on the right. Go through here to
a block at the end of a hallway. Push it into the hole in the middle of the
room to open the door. Go through. In the chest are bombs. Blow up the middle
of the floor and jump down.
          c. King Dodongo: Infernal Dinosaur
King Dodongo shoots fire, and curls into a ball and rolls around. You?re safe
at the edge of the lava. When he?s about to shoot fire, throw a bomb into its
mouth, then, attack its head. When he dies, get the Heart Container and go into
the light.
     E. Zora?s Domain
Darunia will give you the Goron?s Ruby. (If you blow up that white thing near
Goron City, you can get 50 rupees from the chest.) Blow up those rocks on Death
Mountain Trail, and go up. Go towards Death Mountain. The Hylian Shield is the
best to use against the falling rocks. Climb up the wall, but watch out for
Skullwalltula. At the top is Kaepora. Blow up the white thing, and go in.
Play Zelda?s Lullaby in front of the Fairy Fountain to make the Great Fairy
appear. She will give you magic power and teach you the Spin Attack. Kaepora
can fly you back to Kakariko Village. In Hyrule Field, follow the river to
Zora?s River. Talk to Kaepora. Blow up the rocks. The man sells Magic Beans.
Each one increases in price by 10 rupees. Go across the river. (It works best
when holding a cucco.) Keep going through here to the waterfall with all the
twisty land in front. Go in front of the waterfall on the weird thing on the
ground, and play Zelda?s Lullaby to part the waterfall. Go through the doorway
that is revealed. (You need to get a fish from the shallow water in Zora?s
Domain.) Go up the pathway. At King Zora, go left. Talk to the Zora to play a
game. You have to pay 20 rupees to play. Jump off the waterfall. Dive to
collect the five rupees in a limited time. Once you do, go back and talk to
that Zora for the Silver Scale. Now, you can dive farther. Jump off the
waterfall. Dive down and swim through the doorway underwater to Lake Hylia.
Dive down to get the bottle. Inside it is a letter. Go back to Zora?s Domain.
Target King Zora, and show him the letter. He will get out of the way. Go past
him to Zora?s Fountain. Put the fish in front of Lord Jabu-Jabu. He will suck
you inside.
     F. Inside Jabu-Jabu?s Belly
Shoot the white thing on the ceiling to open the door. Go through. Go through
the door, and talk to Princess Ruto. Drop through the hole she fell through.
Talk to her two times. Now you must carry her, so do that. Go through the door
nearby. Throw her to the other side of the water. Step on the switch so the
water will rise. Go to the other side, and pick her up again. Shoot the thing
on the ceiling to open the door. (If you target the thing, you can throw Ruto
into it instead.) Go through. Go on that thing that goes up and down. At the
top, jump off, and go through the door on the right. Go through the door on the
other side of the room. Go right and step on the switch. Ruto counts as extra
weight, so the switch will be pushed down, and the door will open. Go through.
Kill all the Stingers (They?re vulnerable when they?re flying.) to make a chest
appear. Open it for the Boomerang. It works best on all the enemies in this
dungeon. Go out. Go into the hallway that is left of the door you first
entered. Leave Ruto on the switch to open the door, and go in. Use the
boomerang on the narrow part of the Parasitic Tentacle to kill it. A chest with
the Dungeon Map will appear. Go out, and get Ruto. Go through the door nearby,
and kill all the Shabom in a limited time to open the door and make a chest with
the Compass appear. Go out. Go back to the hallway you were in earlier. Go
through the other door. Kill the Parasitic Tentacle to open the door. Go out.
Go through the door in the remaining hallway. Kill the Parasitic Tentacle to
open the door. Go back to the room with the holes. Drop through the hole
closest to the wall on the right where a tentacle used to be. Go through the
door. Throw Ruto onto the platform. When you try to get her, she will be taken
away.
          a. Bigocto
Don?t touch the spinning platform. Bigocto changes direction when the platform
changes direction, when you hit it, or when it hits you. Chase after it. When
you get close, target it, and hit its back with your boomerang. Use your sword
on the green thing on its back. When you kill it, go onto the platform, and it
will rise.
Go through the door. Throw the boomerang at the spongy things to freeze them.
Go across to the door and go through. Jump onto the thing, and it will lower.
Put a box onto the switch to open the door. Go through. Climb up the vines.
Target the switch, and throw your boomerang at it to open the door. Go through.
          b. Barinade: Bio-electric Anemone
As it shoots electricity at you, cut through the things attached to the ceiling
with your boomerang. When the jellyfish spin around it, you can attack its body
with the boomerang (which paralyzes it). Sometimes you can kill the jellyfish.
Whenever Barinade?s paralyzed from the boomerang, attack it with your sword.
Later, it will shoot electricity even after it was hit with your boomerang.
When it dies, get the Heart Container, and go into the light.
     G. The Temple of Time
Ruto will give you the Zora?s Sapphire. Go to Hyrule Castle. There will be a
cut scene. Dive into the moat, and get the Ocarina of Time. You will learn the
Song of Time. Go into the Market. Go right to the Temple of Time. Inside,
play the Song of Time to get rid of the Door of Time. Pull the Master Sword out
of the pedestal (of time). There will be a cut scene. Now you are Adult Link.
(All the bean stalks have grown.) You can change back to Child Link by
replacing the Master Sword to the Pedestal of Time. Rauru gives you the Light
Medallion. Now, you will talk to Shiek. If you talk to her again later, she
will teach you the Prelude of Light. (In the Market, there are ReDeads.) Go to
the Kakariko Village Graveyard. Move the grave next to the bean plant with the
plants in front of it. Jump into the hole. Follow Dampe?s Ghost through the
maze in a limited time. Be careful of the flames he leaves behind. At the end,
talk to him and a chest will appear. Open it for the Hookshot. (As you leave,
play the Song of Time to get rid of those blocks.) In the windmill, talk to the
man. (This is supposed to be for later, but you may as well get it over with
now.) Take out your ocarina, and he will teach you the Song of Storms. Go to
the Lost Woods. Talk to Mido. Play Saria?s Song so he will let you pass. Go
to the Sacred Forest Meadow. Watch out for the Moblins. Right before the
stairs is a Big Moblin. Watch out for the shock waves of its club. Kill it
with bombs. After you go up the stairs, Shiek will come and teach you the
Minuet of Forest. Use the Hookshot on the tree branch to get up to the higher
area. Go through the doorway.
     H. Forest Temple
Climb up the vines. Open the chest for a Small Key. Drop down. Go through the
door. Go through another door. There will be a short cut scene. Go forward.
Go through the door. Go through another door. Kill the two Stalfos as you
would a Wolfos. When they die, the door will open, and a chest with a Small Key
will appear. Go back to the main room. (The one where the Poes were.) Go
right. Play the Song of Time to make the block disappear. Go through the door.
Go up the vines. (The top Skullwalltula is too high to hurt, so go around it.
At the top, go through door. Kill the Blue Bubble to make the door open and a
chest appear. In the chest is the Dungeon Map. Go through the door. Hookshot
to the target. Step on the switch to lower the water in the well. Go into the
well. Open the chest for a Small Key. Go back to the main room. Unlock the
locked door up some stairs with the Small Key. Go through another door. Go up
two ladders. Pull/push the block in the direction of the arrows. When it hits
the wall, go around to the other side and push it some more. Get onto it to
climb to a higher place. Pull/push this block. When it can?t go any further,
go to the lower level. Go up a ladder to get to the other side. Push it into
the wall. Go back to the higher level. Push it some more. Get onto it. Go up
to a higher area. Go up the ladder. Unlock the door with a Small Key, and go
through. Go through the twisted hallway. Watch out for the shadow of the
Wallmaster. Don?t let it grab you. Unlock the door with a Small Key and go
through. Go down the stairs. Go through the door. Kill the Stalfos. Two more
will come. When one dies, kill the other before the first one comes back to
life. When they both die, the door will open, and a chest will appear. The
Fairy Bow is in it. Go back to the previous room. Shoot an arrow at the
picture the ghost is in. Do this until you?ve shot all three. Joelle will
appear. You can?t hurt her when she?s invisible or spinning. When she dies, a
chest will appear with a Small Key in it. Go through the door. Go through
another door. Repeat the same thing to kill Beth. When she dies, a chest will
appear. Open it for a Compass. (You need a Small Key to unlock the door. Past
it are Green Bubbles.) Go to the room before the twisted hallway. Shoot the
eye above the door with an arrow to untwist the hallway. Go through. Open the
chest for the Boss Key. Drop down the hole. Kill both the Blue Bubbles to open
the door. Go through. Go through the door on the right. Kill the Floormaster
and its pieces to open the door and to make a chest appear. Open the chest for
a Small Key. Go out. Go through the other door. Shoot the eye above the
twisted hallway door to twist the hallway. Go to where I said the Green Bubbles
were. Unlock the door with the Small Key. Go through. Go on the spinning
thing. Don?t go in the red stuff. Shoot an arrow through the fire so it hits
the eye and melts the ice. (Or just use Din?s Fire.) Go back to the Green
Bubble room. The hallway?s twisted. Drop down the hole in the room past here.
Don?t let the ceiling fall on you. Go on the places where it won?t hurt you
before it falls. Watch out for Skulltula. In the chest are arrows. Step on
the switch to open the door. Go through. Shoot the picture with an arrow.
Push the blocks in a way so that they form the picture. One block isn?t used.
If you take too long, the blocks will flip over, and you?ll have to start again.
When you do it right, Amy will appear. Kill her to open the door. Go through.
Go through another door. Jump off the balcony and fight Meg. Four copies of
her surround you. The one that spins once is the real one. Shoot her with an
arrow. When you kill her, the elevator will come up. Go into the elevator.
Now, push one of those things sticking out of the wall to rotate the wall. Step
on the switch in the alcove to open a gate. Rotate the wall again. Step on
another switch in an alcove to open a gate. Rotate the wall. Rotate the wall
again. Step on another switch to open another gate. Go into the last alcove.
Unlock the door with the Boss Key, and go through. Go up the stairs. When you
try to appear, the boss will come.
          a. Phantom Ganon: Evil Spirit from Beyond
He will go into a painting. When he starts to come out from one, shoot him with
an arrow. If you don?t, he?ll shoot you with green lightning. A fake one will
also come. It will not come out of the painting, but it turns and runs. The
fake one doesn?t run straight on the path. It?s usually half on the grass.
Don?t be fooled by this. After a bit, he?ll float around. When he shoots a
block of energy at you, hit it with your sword so it bounces back at him.
Sometimes he hits it back. If it does, it will move faster each time it?s hit.
If the ball of energy hits him, you will be able to hurt him with your sword.
When he dies, get the Heart Container and go into the light. Saria, the Sage of
the Forest, will give you the Forest Medallion.
     I. Death Mountain
After you get the Forest Medallion, you?ll talk to the Deku Tree sprout. Go to
Goron City. (Be careful of the rocks rolling around on Death Mountain Trail.)
Use a bomb on the rolling Goron to stop him. Talk to him. Ask him about both
things, and he will give you the Goron Tunic. All the doors in Goron City will
open. Go to Darunia?s room and pull the statue out of the way. Go through to
Death Mountain. (From now until you finish the Fire Temple, you should wear the
Goron Tunic. Go to the left. Hookshot to the wooden thing above the bridge.
Shiek will teach you the Bolero of Fire. Go past the bridge and down the ladder
to the left to get to the Fire Temple.
     J. Fire Temple
Go up the stairs and through the door on the left. Talk to Darunia. Jump
across some things to get to the cell on the left. Step on the switch to open
the cell. Talk to the Goron. In the chest is a Small Key. Leave this room.
Unlock the door to the right of the stairs with the Small Key and go through.
The platforms rise, sink, or move to the left or right. Go left. Go through
the door. Step on the switch to open the cell. Talk to the Goron. In the
chest is a Small Key. Leave the room. Go to the right of the bridge. Blow up
the yellowish, rectangle on the wall. Go through the door behind it. Step on
the switch to open the cell. Talk to the Goron. Open the chest for a Small
Key. Leave the room. Go across the bridge. Unlock the door with the Small Key
and go through. Slide down the thing. Climb up the metal fence on the right.
Drop down next to the block. Push it off the edge, and drop down onto it. When
the lava shoots up, it will rise. At the top, get off. Unlock the door with a
Small Key and go through. Go up the area on the left where the Torch Slugs are.
Jump to the crystal, and push the block off the edge. Drop down and pull it as
far as it will go. Get onto it, and climb up the metal. Drop a bomb down next
to the crystal. When it blows up and activates the crystal, the fire will go
out for a limited time. When that happens, climb up the metal. Go through the
door. Watch out for the rolling rocks. Find the cell, and step on the switch
to open it. Talk to the Goron. A Small Key is in the chest. Go through the
door in an alcove-ish area. Step on the switch to open the cell. Talk to the
Goron. In the chest is a Small Key. Leave the room. Unlock a different door
with a Small Key and go through. Shoot the eye with an arrow to open the door.
Go through and get the Dungeon Map from the chest. Leave the room. Unlock the
door with a Small Key and go through. A fire wall will come, so run. Go
through the door at the end. Jump forward, and blow up the cracked floor.
Climb down the metal. Step on the switch to open the cell and create a
shortcut. Talk to the Goron. A Small Key is in the chest. Climb back up the
metal. Step on the switch nearby to open the cell. Jump over to the cell.
Talk to the Goron. A Small Key is in the chest. Go to the room with the fire
wall. Jump up to that door. (Jump from the metal floor, not from the pillars.)
Unlock the door with a Small Key and go through. Go through another door.
(Through one of the doors to the left is a chest with the Compass inside.)
Watch out for the small walls of fire that come out of the ground. Unlock the
door on the left with a Small Key and go through. Go through another door. Go
left. Step on the switch to lower the big wall of fire for a limited time, so
go past it. Blow up the evil door, and go through the door behind it.
          a. Flare Dancer
You can?t hurt this when it?s running around (or whatever it?s doing). Use your
Hookshot on its body when it?s spinning. (Right before it ?runs?, it will throw
out fire around it.) Attack its body. Continue until it dies.
Get on the thing in the center. It will rise. Go through the door. Climb up
the metal. Drop a bomb on the crystal. It will make the fire go away for a
limited time, so climb up the metal, and go through the door at the top. Step
on the switch so the fire around the chest goes out for a limited time. Run
across that inside edge. Open the chest for the Megaton Hammer. Go back. Get
on the face, and hit it with the Hammer. It will go down. Use the Hammer on
the statue. Go through the door behind it. Hit the top of the little, pillar
thing with the Hammer to make the floor change. Put a box on the switch to open
the door. Go through. Get on the face, and hammer it down. Hammer the rusty
switch to open the door. Go through. Jump across. Play the Song of Time to
move the block. Hammer the rusty switch beneath the block to open the cell.
Drop down, and talk to the Goron. A Small Key is in the chest. Use the block
to get back to the door. Go through. Get on the face, and hammer the face to
lower it. Go back to the first room. Hammer the statue. Unlock the door with
a Small Key and go through. Kill the Fire Keese and Torch Slugs to open the
door. Go through. Use your shield to protect yourself from flying tiles. Go
through the door.
          b. Flare Dancer
Kill it again to open the doors.
Go through the door. Hammer the rusty switch to open the cell. Talk to the
Goron. The Boss Key is in the chest. Go to the room where you talked to
Darunia. Unlock the door with the Boss Key and go through.
          c. Volvagia: Subterranean Lava Dragon
Volvagia does stuff in a pattern. It comes out of a hole and sits there for a
short time. Then it flies out of a hole. It sits, then, flies. When it comes
out of a hole the first time, it might shoot fire or use its claws if you don?t
attack fast enough. Hit its head with the Megaton Hammer, then, use your sword
on its head. Later, it will try to trick you so it will be harder to know where
it will come out of. When it flies, it shoots fire or makes rocks fall. You
can shoot its head with an arrow. Once it dies, get the Heart Container, and go
into the light. Darunia, the Sage of Fire, will give you the Fire Medallion.
     K. Ice Cavern
Go to Zora?s Fountain. Jump across the ice and into an alcove. Here is the Ice
Cavern. Watch out for enemies that can freeze you and icicles that fall from
the ceiling. You can break the blue icicles with your sword. Also, watch out
for spikes sliding across the ice. In one slippery room, kill all the
Freezzards to open the gate. Go through to the next room. You must get all 5
silver rupees to open the gate. #1-3 is on the ground in plain sight. #4 is
behind some icicles. Jump from up at the gate to get #5. The gate will open,
so go through. In the next room, be careful of the Ice Keese. Go up to the
Blue Fire and get some in a bottle. You can use it to melt red ice. Melt the
red ice around the chest. Open the chest for the Dungeon Map. Get more Blue
Fire. Go to the room with the ice propeller. Melt the red ice to the left.
There?s Blue Fire over here. Melt the red ice to the right around the chest.
Open it for the Compass. Go back into the ice propeller room, and melt the
other red ice. You must collect 5 silver rupees to open the gate. #1 is in
plain sight near the ground. Now, have your back facing where you just came
from, and push the block forward. Get onto it to get up to #2. Push the block
to the left. Jump from the short thing nearby to #3. Push the block forward,
then, left. Get #4. Push the block forward so you can get some Blue Fire.
Push the block into a hole so it will go to its original position. Push it
forward, then, right. Melt the red ice for #5. The gate will open. Push the
block into a hole. From the original position, push it forward, left, forward,
left, back towards where you came from, then, left. Now you can jump up to the
newly opened hallway. Melt the red ice to get to the door and go through. Kill
the White Wolfos like you would a Wolfos to make the door open and a chest
appear. Open the chest for Iron Boots. Shiek will teach you the Serenade of
Water. You will sink in water if you wear Iron Boots. Sink in the water, and
go through the door. Make sure you have Blue Fire. At Zora?s Domain, melt the
red ice around King Zora. Talk to him, and he will give you the Zora Tunic so
you can breathe underwater. Go to Lake Hylia, and sink into the water. You can
only use your Hookshot under water, so use it to hit the blue thing above the
gate to open it. Go through to the Water Temple.
     L. Water Temple
Wear the Zora Tunic here so you can breathe underwater. Get out of this water.
Now, sink to the bottom of the other water. Go through where the torches are,
and talk to Ruto. Float up through the water. Play Zelda?s Lullaby at the
Triforce on the wall to make the water lower completely. Go through the door up
here. Kill all the Spikes to make a chest appear. Open it for the Dungeon Map.
Leave the room, and jump down to the bottom level. Light the torches with Din?s
Fire to open the door. Go through. Kill all the Shell Blades to make a chest
with a Small Key appear. Go to the block across from here. Push it until it
falls through a hole. Go through the water to the next room. Hit the crystal
so the water rises for a limited time. Jump across to the door. Go through.
With the Iron Boots, sink in the water, but make sure you land on that pipe-like
thing. Hit the crystal in the serpent?s mouth with your Hookshot to open the
gate for a limited time. Take off your boots and get in there. Open the chest
past the gate for a Small Key. To go back, the crystal nearby will open the
gate. Go back to the main room. Unlock the door in the middle area with the
Small Key and go through. Hookshot to a target thingy to get to a Triforce on
the wall. Play Zelda?s Lullaby to make the water rise to level 2. Sink down
through the hole beneath the block that floated up. Hit the crystal to open a
gate. Kill all the Shell Blades and Spikes to open another gate. Go through to
a chest with a Small Key. Go back to the previous room. Go through the door.
Go to the room where Ruto was. Float up. Blow up the cracked wall. In the
chest is a Small Key. Go back to the main room. Go through the hallway above
the room Ruto was in. Hookshot to the target on the ceiling. Hookshot to the
target on the ceiling farthest away. Go next to the chest. Hit the crystal
with your Hookshot to lower the water for a short time. Open the chest for the
Compass. Go back to the main room, and unlock that door with the Small Key and
go through. Go on the water. Hit the crystal with your Hookshot to make the
water rise. Get off. Go through the door. Play Zelda?s Lullaby at the
Triforce to make the water rise completely. Go to the room two rooms above the
room Ruto was in. Go through the water. Pull the block as far as it will go.
You will need this later. Go back to the main room. Unlock the door with the
Small Key. Go on the moving platforms. Hookshot from one to another until you
get to the door. Unlock the door with the Small Key and go through. Hit the
crystal with your Hookshot to make the statues and the water rise. Hookshot to
the statue. Hit the crystal to make the statues and water lower. Hookshot next
to the next statue. Climb over it. Hit the crystal. Hookshot to the next
statue. Hit the crystal. Get on the statue?s head. Hit the crystal. Get off
at the top. Hookshot to the target on the ceiling. Go through the door. Run
around a bit, then, go to the tree.
          a. Dark Link
Dark Link will copy your sword attacks. Don?t attack forward, or he will jump
on your sword. Either stand still or walk backwards. You can use Din?s Fire on
him. Once he dies, the door will open. Go through.
Open the chest for the Longshot. Target the block and stand nearby. Play the
Song of Time to make it disappear. Go into the water. Don?t get sucked into
the vortexes. Sometimes you will need to wear your Iron Boots so they won?t get
you. In the end part of the room, Longshot to the target on the ceiling. Shoot
the eye with an arrow to open the gate for a limited time. Longshot to the
chest. Inside it is a Small Key. Go back to the main room. Make the water go
to level 2. In the main room, shoot the eye beneath the hallway with an arrow
to open the gate for a limited time. Longshot to the target behind the gate.
Push the block as far as it will go to reveal a room. Open the chest for a
Small Key. Lower the water completely. Go to the main room. Go through the
hallway that you haven?t gone through yet. Longshot to the target on the wall.
Longshot to the target above the door. Unlock the door with a Small Key and go
through. Watch out for rolling rocks and vortexes and get to the door on the
other side. Go through. Drop down. Blow a hole in the cracked wall and the
wall across the water from the first one. (The color of tile/bricks [whatever]
is different.) Go in through the second hole and push the block. In hole 1,
pull the block. Back in hole 2, push the block into the water. It will land on
a switch, and the water will rise. Now you can get to a door. Go through.
Step on the switch to raise the water and open the door for a limited time.
Jump across and go through the door. Sink through the hole beneath the water.
Float up, and unlock the door with a Small Key. Go through. Open the chest for
the Boss Key. Go to the top level of the main room. Longshot to the statue.
Go through the door. Go up the slippery thing without getting hit by the
spikes. Unlock the door with the Boss Key. Go through and jump onto one of
those platforms in the water.
          b. Morpha: Giant Aquatic Amoeba
Morpha will make little whirlpools when it?s about to rise up and attack. If it
touches you, it will grab you and throw you. Use the Longshot to bring Morpha?s
nucleus to you. Attack that part until it dies. When it does, get the Heart
Container, and go into the light. Ruto, the Sage of Water, will give you the
Water Medallion.
     M. Bottom of the Well
Become Child Link. Go into the windmill in Kakariko Village. Play the Song of
Storms to drain the well. Climb down into the well. I?m going to explain how
to get the Lens of Truth first, the important part. Crawl through the hole, and
go down the ladder. Go straight ahead through the wall. Go around here until
you get to the statue. (Watch out for the huge Green Bubble.) Play Zelda?s
Lullaby on the Triforce to make the water go away. Go back around to that hole
near the entrance. Drop down. In the chest are bombs. Crawl through the hole.
Climb up the vines and go through the door.
          a. Dead Hand
Let a hand grab you, and Dead Hand will come out of the ground. Get away by
pressing buttons and shaking the control stick or by getting bitten by Dead
Hand. Attack its head. It goes under ground after a short time. Don?t go near
it during this. Continue until it dies. A chest with the Lens of Truth will
appear.
Now, here is the not so important part if you?re one of those dorks like myself
who want every single item. Open the invisible chest for 200 rupees. Go back
to that main room. (Don?t go near the faces on the wall in this room.) If you
drop down into the very bottom level, you need five silver rupees to open the
door. In one hallway is the chest with the Dungeon Map. Rupee #1 is by the
ladder, #2 and #3 are around that green stuff, #4 is up the first ladder, and #5
is up the second ladder. Up here is the door that should now be open. Go
through. Go through the wall on the left. Go left and into an alcove. Drop
down in here. A recovery heart is in the chest. Climb up the vines, and go
through the door. Watch out for Gibdo. Light the torches to open the coffins.
Keese and a Gibdo come out of those. In one is a Small Key. Go back to the
main room. Go to that front area. Blow up the cracked rock thing. Drop down
the hole beneath it is a chest with Bombchu. Get out. Use the Lens of Truth to
find alcoves in the inner wall of this place. One has a chest with a Small Key
in it, another has a chest with a Small Key in it, and the last leads to the
chest with the Compass.
     N. Shadow Temple
Go back to the Temple of Time and become adult Link. Go to Kakariko Village for
a cut scene. Shiek will teach you the Nocturne of Shadow. Play it to go to the
graveyard. Go through the passage here to a room with many torches. Go in the
center and use Din?s Fire to light the torches, and a door will open. Go
through. This is the Shadow Temple. Creepy, no? Go forward and longshot
across the gap using the target. Walk straight through the wall. Go to the
statue to hear a riddle. Now, use the Lens of Truth and find the skull that
doesn?t disappear. Turn the statue to face it (using the square thing sticking
out of it). If done wrong, the ground beneath you will open up and poor
Link-man will fall. If done right, a door will open. But, you can?t get over
there yet. Use the Lens of Truth to find another wall to walk through, so walk
through it. The Lens is useful in this place, too. In one room are two ReDeads
and two Keese. Kill them for a chest to appear. There?s a Dungeon Map inside.
The other room has Dead Hand. Kill it like before. A chest with Hover Boots
inside will appear. Oh, joy. Go back to the room with the bird statue. Cross
the gap with the Hover Boots to get to the door. Through here are three brown
walls and a Beamos. Go through the left one to get to a room with spinning
scythe things. Get five silver rupees. They are: #1 and 2-around the scythes,
#3 and 4-in alcoves along the wall, and #5-use the longshot on the target next
to it to get it. A gate will open. Behind it is a chest with a small key
inside. (The alcove with the face is a short cut to the ?boat room?. You can
use it later.) Go back to the previous room. Now, go through the wall on the
right (or straight ahead, it depends on where you are). This room has two
Gibdos. Kill them for a chest to appear. In it is a compass. Now, back to the
previous room, where you will blow p the last wall. In this place are some Big
Skulltulas, guillotine-like things, and a Wallmaster. You will fight a Stalfos
(or run away like a coward). After the Stalfos, go right. (Wear the Hover
Boots.) Cross the thing that rises and lowers and go over to the Beamos. Kill
the Beamos, and get the five silver rupees to open to open a gate. Go through
and use the Lens to see a block in the wall. Push it under the blocks until
both spike things hit it, then start pulling it. When it?s as far as it can go,
get on it. By going across the spike things and the areas on the left and
right, you can get to a chest with only five rupees in it and a switch. Step on
it to make another chest appear. Open it for a small key. Go to the previous
room. Go left across a narrow little thing over to a guillotine. (It?s best to
use the Hover Boots.) Cross the invisible platforms (one moves back and forth
along the chain) to get to the door. Unlock it with the small key and go
through. Kill the two ReDeads in here so a chest full of five rupees appears.
There are invisible spikes on the ground. You can stay on them for a short time
without getting hurt wearing the Goron Tunic. There are five silver rupees
here: #1 is on the ground, #2 and 3 can be gotten by using the longshot on the
targets on the wall, and #4 and 5 have invisible targets (one on the wall and
one on the ceiling). When you get them, a door will open. Go through it. Kill
all the Keese to open the door (and so they won?t bother you). Go up the stairs
and throw a bomb flower into the skull to blow it up and get a small key.
Leave. Use the longshot on the invisible target on the ceiling to get to a
door. Unlock it with the small key and go through. Wear the Iron Boots so the
fans don?t blow you away. Before the second fan is a Skulltula. At the third,
cross the gap with Hover Boots when the fan stops. Switch back to Iron Boots to
go through this place. The room at the end of this hallway is unnecessary
unless you want to figure out a riddle on your own. If not, at the last fan,
take off you Iron Boots and put on Hover Boots. The fan will blow you through a
wall to the left to a hidden door. Go through the door and kill the Gibdos for
a chest to appear with five rupees in it. Now, go to the corner to the right of
the door you came in by and blow up the rock there. There is an invisible chest
here. See it with the Lens and open it for a small key. Unlock the door with
this key. Pull the block here (it reveals the shortcut I mentioned earlier) and
pull it over to the face on the ground. Climb up onto the block and up the
ladder. Get on the ship and play Zelda?s Lullaby on the Triforce to make it go.
Fight the Stalfos, and jump off the ship (to the left) at the end. Go through
the door. There are invisible walls and Floormasters here. There are also
three doors. In one room, use Din?s Fire to burn the spiky walls that move
towards you. Behind them are ReDeads and a chest with five rupees and a chest
with the Boss Key. In another room, you throw bomb flowers into the spinning
skulls for rupees. In the last room is an invisible Floormaster. Use Din?s
Fire on it. A chest will appear that has a small key inside. Now, go back to
the ?boat room?. Go forward a bit, then, shoot the bomb flowers across the
?water? to the right to knock down the pillar. Cross over the pillar. Unlock
the door with the small key and go through. Cross this room (Use the Lens to
see the invisible platforms.) and go through the door using the Boss Key.
          a. Bongo Bongo: Phantom Shadow Beast
It?s hard to move here because poor Link keeps bouncing around. Stupid Bongo
beast. Anyway, shoot his hands with arrows. Don?t let them push you off the
bongo because the ground around it is poisonous. When both hands are shot and
turn blue, use the Lens to see Bongo Bongo. Shoot the red thing with an arrow
and attack the red thing with your sword. Repeat until he dies. Get the Heart
Container. Go into the light and Impa will give you the Shadow Medallion.
     O. Getting to the Spirit Temple
Go to Gerudo Valley. Cross the bridge by jumping across with Epona or using the
longshot on the thing on the other side. From here, go to Gerudo Fortress.
Don?t let anyone see you here or you?ll be thrown into prison. (You can
paralyze Gerudos for a short time if you shoot them with an arrow or the
longshot. The arrow works better. If you are in the prison, use the longshot
on the wood up high on one wall to get out.) Go into the building on the far
left side of the Fortress. Talk to the carpenter. Defeat the Gerudo Thief for
a small key. Unlock the cell and talk to the carpenter. You have freed Ichiro.
Leave the room by the doorway you didn?t originally come in by. Go into the
building next to here. Go down the hallway on the left and up the ramp on the
left. Go outside and into a nearby building. Talk to the carpenter. Defeat
the Gerudo Thief for a small key. Unlock the cell door and talk to the
carpenter. You have freed Jiro. Go out the door you didn?t come in by. Go the
building with vines on it. Go into the building near the vines. Longshot to
the wood on the ceiling to get across the room. Go out this door. Drop down to
the door on the right (Link?s right). Go in. Go down the hallway and talk to
the carpenter. Defeat the Gerudo Thief to get a small key. Unlock the door and
talk to the carpenter. You have freed Sabooro. Leave here. Drop down and go
into the building on the right. Talk to the carpenter, defeat the Gerudo Thief
for a small key, unlock the cell door, and talk to the carpenter. You have
freed the last carpenter, Shiro. (The carpenters will rebuild the bridge.)
Talk to the Gerudo for Gerudo?s Membership Card. Now the Gerudos won?t hurt you
anymore. Go to the gate near the wasteland and climb up the ladder. Talk to
the Gerudo up here and she will open the gate. Now, go into the Haunted
Wasteland (preferably by day). Cross the river of sand either by wearing Hover
Boots or by using the longshot on the crate across the sand. Now, follow the
flags. (At the sign, go left to a guy who sells Bombchus.) At the stone
building, go up the ramp. Use the Lens of Truth to see the ghost. Follow it to
the Desert Colossus. Go into the Spirit Temple, then, leave, since you can?t do
anything here. Shiek will come and teach you the Requiem of Spirit. As Young
Link, play the Requium of Spirit to get to the Desert Colossus. Go into the
Spirit Temple.
     P. Spirit Temple
Go up the stairs and to the left. Talk to Nabooru. Answer her questions as:
Nothing, really; I hate Ganondorf!; and Yes. Crawl through the hole. Kill the
Keese, Fire Keese, and Armos to open the doors. Go through the door on the
left. Kill the Stalfos and the Green Bubble. Throw the boomerang to the left
of the bridge so it hits the crystal behind the bridge so that the bridge
lowers. (The chest across the bridge has 5 rupees in it.) Go through the door.
Kill the Anubis to open the door. (Don?t hit the crystal or you won?t be able
to get to the door for a short time.) Go through the door. Kill the Wallmaster
and the Fire Keese here. One silver rupee is behind the torch. The other four
are on the metal wall, which you can climb up. Get them all to lower the
bridge. Light the torches to make a chest appear. Open it for a small key.
Leave the room and crawl through the hole nearby. Unlock the door with the
small key and go through. Kill the Skullwalltulas, then, climb up the wall.
Kill the Lizalfos here. Hit the crystal on the wall to the right of the door
(when facing the door) to make a chest of bombchus appear. Kill the
Skullwalltula on the wall, then, target the crack. Use a bombchu to blow up the
cracked wall. Light will shine on the sun and open the door. Go through the
door. Push the Armos to the left so it lands on a switch and holds it down to
open a door. Go upstairs and through the door. Go through another door. Kill
all the Beamos here. Get all five silver rupees here. #1-3 are around the edge
of the room; #4 is in the middle; jump off one of the blocks to get #5. A torch
will light up. Light a Deku Stick on fire and light all the other torches
quickly before they go outto make a chest appear. In the chest is a small key.
Now, move the blocks out of the way so you can pull the block with the sun on it
into the light to open the door. Go through the door. Unlock another door with
the small key and go through.
         a. Iron Knuckle
Hit Iron Kuckle to wake him up. Don?t get hit by his axe; it hurts a lot.
(Make him go near a pillar so he?ll smash it if you?re low on hearts.) Use
bombs and bombchus to hurt him. After a bit, he?ll lose some armor and run
faster. After a bit, you?ll finally kill him and the door will open. Go
through the door.
Talk to the owl, then, open the chest for the Silver Gauntlets. There will be a
cut scene. Come back to the Desert Colossus as Adult Link. Go inside the
Spirit Temple, up the stairs, then, to the right. Push the block out of the
way. Hit the crystal on the ceiling with a longshot to open the doors. Go
through the left door and kill the Wolfos. Play Zelda?s Lullaby on the Triforce
to make a chest appear. Use the longshot on the chest to get to it. Open it
for the Compass. Leave the room. Go through the door on the right.Use the
Hover Boots to get to the first silver rupee. Be careful of the boulders
rolling around here. The other four silver rupees are in alcoves along the
walls. Get them all to open the door. Go through the door. Kill the Like
Like. Open the chest for a small key. Go back to the room with the Beamos.
Unlock the door with a small key and go through. Be careful of the Like Like
and the evil pots. Climb up the wall. There?s an invisible Floormaster here.
Push the handle on the mirror to move it. The suns do this when light shines on
them (from left to right): gives you a chest with a recovery heart in it, gives
a chest that will freeze you when it opens (Don?t open it.), opens the door (The
door will close if the light leaves it.), gives you a Wallmaster. Go through
the door. Drop down. Light the torches to make a chest appear. The Dungeon
Map is in the chest. Use the longshot on the target above the Armos to get back
up to a higher place. Go up the stairs and wear the Hover Boots to hover to the
statue?s hand. Play Zelda?s Lullaby on the Triforce to make a chest appear in
the statue?s other hand. Use the longshot to get to the other statue. Open it
for a small key. Go to the door at the top of the stairs on the right (when
facing the statue) side of the room. (For a short cut, have your back face this
door. Longshot to the chest in front of you. There?s five rupees in the chest.
Hit the rusty switch with the Megaton Hammer to open a door. Go through the
door. Push two blocks out of the way, then, hit the rusty switch with the
Megaton Hammer. A little square elevator-like thing will go up and down. You
can now get from the entrance of the Spirit Temple to the room with the big
statue quickly and easily.) Unlock the door with the small key and go through.
Go through another door. Kill the Beamos and the three Anubis to open a door.
(Don?t step on the switch or you won?t be able to get to the door for a short
time.) Go through the door. The switch here must be held down to open the
door, so wake up an Armos. When it steps on a switch, quickly run through the
door that opens. Go through another door.
         b. Iron Knuckle
Kill Iron Knuckle like you did before. The Master Sword can hurt it this time.
A door will open. Go through.
Open the chest to get the Mirror Shield. Go back to the room with the four
Armos. Shine light using the Mirror Shield onto the sun to open the door. Go
through. Open the chest for a small key. Go back to the room with the three
Anubis. Unlock the door with the small key and go through. Kill the
Skullwalltula and the Beamos. Climb up the wall. It moves. (You can also use
the longshot on the top of the climbable part of wall to get to the top very
quickly.) Go through the door. Play Zelda?s Lullaby on the Triforce to open
the door. Go through. Kill the torch slugs. The doors here are evil. Behind
the one to the left of the fire is an eye. Either blow up the door or hit with
a longshot then shoot the eye with an arrow when the door moves. Longshot to
the target on the ceiling. Step on the switch to make the fire go away for a
limited time. Open the chest for the Boss Key. Leave the room. Go through the
other door. Hit the crystal between the bars with the Z+B attack or use a jump
attack so a door opens. Go through. Kill the Lizalfos. Shine light using the
Mirror Shield onto the sun above the doorway to make a chest of bombs appear.
Kill the White Bubbles. Blow up the discolored wall. Push the mirror so it
shines light on another mirror. Kill a Lialos. Push the other mirror so it
shines light through the bars. Go to the previous room. Shine light using the
Mirror Shield onto the sun to lower the platform. Shine light using the Mirror
Shield onto the statue?s face to burn it away. Use the longshot on the inside
of the hole where the face was. Unlock the door with the Boss Key. Go through.
         c. Iron Knuckle
After the cut scene, kill the Iron Knuckle like before. There will be another
cut scene and another door will open. Go through and climb up the climbable
wall here.
         d. Twinrova: Sorceress Sisters
Part 1: You must only use the Mirror Shield here. Reflect fire attacks onto the
ice witch and ice attacks on the fire witch. After a bit, they?ll become one
witch.
Part 2: Have your shield absorb three fire or three ice attacks. It will
automatically attack Twinrova. When she?s on the ground, attack her with your
sword. If you have fire and ice hits your shield, you?ll get hurt. It?s the
same if you have ice and fire hits it. After a while, she?ll die. Get the
Heart Container, then, step into the light. Nabooru will give you the Spirit
Medallion.
     Q. Shiek?s Real Identity
Go to the Temple of Time for a cut scene. Zelda will give you the Light Arrows.
Now, go to where Hyrule Castle used to be. The sages will make a bridge so you
can get into Ganon?s Castle.
     R. Ganon?s Castle
Go forward and through the door. Go through the door on the left. Kill the
Beamos. Longshot to the target above the Beamos to get a silver rupee. The
rest are easy to find. (You can move the Armos to affect how the spikes move.)
The door will open, so go through. Use the jump attack to hit the crystal
through the bars. A chest of bombchus will appear. Use a bombchu to go up the
bars, through the gap near the ceiling, and to the other crystal to open the
door. Go through the door and the next door. Shoot the web on the ceiling with
a Fire Arrow. Now use the Mirror Shield to shine light on the suns. The second
sun to the right of the door opens the door. The others bring Wallmasters. Go
through the door. Shoot the round thing with a Light Arrow to dispel the Spirit
Barrier. You?re back in the main room now. Go through the door with the purple
thing above it. (The chest to the left has rupees in it.) Light the torch to
make platforms appear for a limited time to cross. Or you can longshot to the
torch, then, stand as far over as you can to longshot to the Like Like. Shoot
the torch again if you need to with a Fire Arrow to cross the platforms over to
another place. Also, quickly cross some more platforms to a switch. Step on it
to make a chest appear. Longshot to the chest and open it for Golden Gauntlets.
Use the Lens of Truth to see an invisible walkway. Cross it over to a rusty
switch. Hit the switch with the Megaton Hammer to open the door. Longshot to
the torch by the door. Go through the door. Shoot the round thing with a Light
Arrow to dispel the Shadow Barrier. You?re back in the main room. Go through
the door with the blue thing above it. Kill the Freezards to open the door.
(Get some blue fire.) In the chest on the left is ice that freezes you; the
chest on the right gives you a recovery heart. Melt the red ice with blue fire.
Get more blue fire. Go through the door. You have two minutes to do stuff
here. I call the block closest to you #1 and the one farther away #2. Push #2
to the right, then towards the door you came in by. Now push #1 to the right,
towards the closed door, then, to the left. Climb up on it. Melt the red ice
with blue fire. Hit the rusty switch with the Megaton Hammer to open the door.
Go through. Hit the round thing round thing with a Light Arrow to dispel the
Water Barrier. Now you?re in the main room. Go through the door with the green
thing above it. Kill the Wolfos. A chest of five rupees will appear. Light
the torches with Din?s Fire and the one above the door with a Fire Arrow to open
the door. Go through. Wear the Hover Boots here. The fans will blow you
around and help you get four silver rupees. Step on the switch to make a weird
thing appear. Longshot to the top of it. Stand up on it to get the fifth
silver rupee to open the door. Go through. Shoot the round thing with a Light
Arrow to dispel the Forest Barrier. You?re back in the main room now. Go in
the room with red above the door. Wear the Goron Tunic and the Hover Boots (so
the walkway doesn?t sink). Most of the silver rupees are easy to get. Move the
big rock with the Golden Gauntlets. A silver rupee is beneath it. Cross the
big rock (it?s in the lava now) to get to another silver rupee. The door will
open. Longshot to the target near the door. Go through the door. Shoot the
round thing with a Light Arrow to dispel the Fire Barrier. You?re in the main
room now. Now, use the Golden Gauntlets to get that giant rock out of the way
and go through this door. Kill the three invisible Keese and the invisible
Skulltula. A chest with a small key inside will appear. (Starting from left of
the door and going clockwise, the contents of the other chests are: 5 rupees,
ice that freezes you, recovery heart, more ice, arrows, and more evil ice.
Unlock the door with the small key and go through. Play Zelda?s Lullaby on the
Triforce. A chest with a small key inside will appear. Unlock the door and go
through. You have one minute to get the silver rupees. Avoid the rolling
boulders. Longshot to the target on the ceiling to get one of the silver
rupees. The rest are in the alcoves in the wall and around the center of the
room. The door will open. Go through. Go straight through the wall here.
Shoot the round thing with a Light Arrow to dispel the Light Barrier. You?re
back in the main room. Now you can go into that area in the center of the room.
There are a lot of Fire Keese here. Go up the stairs and through the door.
Kill both Dinolfos to open the door. Go up the stairs and through the door.
Kill both Stalfos. The door will open and the fire will go out. Open the chest
for the Boss Key and go through the door. Go up the stairs and through the door
up here. Kill both Iron Knuckles (You can hurt them both at the same time if
they?re near each other.) and the door will open. Go through. Go up the stairs
and unlock the door with the Boss Key. Go through. Don?t break the pots here.
They are useful for the fight against Ganondorf. Go through the door. Go up
the stairs and through another door. There will be a cut scene.
          a. Ganondorf: Great King of Evil
You can?t target Ganondorf until you hurt him. Get near the wall. Part of the
floor will fall. (Drop down to a lower place if you?re low on hearts, magic, or
other stuff that you can find in the pots.) When Ganondorf shoots a ball of
energy at you, hit it back with your sword. He?ll probably hit it back. Keep
hitting it until it hurt him then shoot him with a Light Arrow. While he?s on
the ground, attack him with your sword. When he charges up a big ball of
energy, charge your sword and use the spin attack to hit it back at him.
Continue until you beat him.
There will be a cut scene. You have three minutes to escape the castle, so just
follow Zelda and watch out for fire and falling rocks. In one room, Zelda is
surrounded by fire. Kill the two Stalfos (If you?re too slow, a dead Stalfos
can come back to life.) and Zelda will be freed. A short while later, there is
a ReDead. Kill it with some fire. When you are out of the castle, there will
be another cut scene. Go to the middle of the castle?s ruins.
          b. Ganon
You won?t have your Master Sword for the beginning of this, so you better have
the Biggoron?s Sword or the Giant?s Knife. Shoot its head with Light Arrows,
then, attack its tail with your sword. If Ganon breaks some pillars, you?ll get
items. After a bit, you?ll be able to go get your Master Sword. Fight like
before. When it falls down, press B and Link will kill it on his own. Yay!
You beat the game!

7. Side Quests

Din?s Fire
After you get past the gate in that area in front of Hyrule Castle, blow up the
rock, and crawl through the hole. Play Zelda?s Lullaby in front of the
fountain. The Great Fairy will give you Din?s Fire.

Double Defense
Go outside of Ganon?s Castle. Using the Golden Gauntlets, pick up the giant
rock to reveal a hole. Go in. Play Zelda?s Lullaby on the Triforce. The Great
Fairy will come and double your defense. Enemies will do have damage now.

Double Magic Power
Go to Death Mountain Crater. Go across the unbroken bridge near the thing that
leads to Darunia?s Room. Break the rocks with the Megaton Hammer. Go through
the hallway behind them. Play Zelda?s Lullaby to make the Great Fairy come.
She will double your magic power.

Epona?s Song
At Lon Lon Ranch, go to the corral, and talk to Malon. When she says, ?Let?s
sing together.? get close, target her, and take out your ocarina. She will
teach you the song. Now Epona will come once you win her as Adult Link.

Farore?s Wind
In Zora?s Fountain, blow up the brown rock (next to a gray rock). It will blow
up the wall. Go up to the Fairy Fountain, and play Zelda?s Lullaby. The Great
Fairy will give you Farore?s Wind.

Finding the Seven Cuccos
Talk to the Cucco Lady in Kakariko Village. You must bring back her cuccos and
put them in the pen. #1 is nearby. #2 is in a box near the first set of stairs
leading up to the gate that leads to Death Mountain. Roll into the box to break
it. #3 is behind the fence next to the door of the House of Skulltula. Hold a
cucco, and jump from that unfinished building to float to the cucco. #4 is near
the exit of Kakariko Village. #5 is behind the fence near the windmill. Go up
near the windmill door, and float while holding a cucco to the shorter fence.
#6 is not far away. Just, from #5, climb up the tall ladder. It?s up there.
#7 is near the gate leading to Death Mountain. Now, talk to the Cucco Lady for
a bottle.

Fire Arrows
After you finish the Water Temple, the water in Lake Hylia will rise. By that
big tree, stand near the stone that says, ?When water fills the lake, shoot for
the morning light.? Just as the sun rises in the morning (It will rise between
those two pillars on the small island you should be facing.), shoot it with an
arrow. Get the Fire Arrow on the little island thing.

Gerudo?s Training Ground
As Adult Link, go to Gerudo Fortress. Pay 10 rupees to go in. Go through the
door on the right. You have 1:30 to kill the Beamos and Dinolfos. A chest with
a small key ininsde will appear. Go through the next door. Hover Boots may
help here. The first three silver rupees are easy to get. Step on the switch
to make fire disappear. Get the silver rupee before the fire comes back. To
the left of here, longshot to the target on the wall to get the fifth silver
rupee. Go through the door that opens. Play the Song of Time to make the blue
blocks appear. Wear the Iron Boots and the Zora Tunic and go underwater.
You?ll land on the first silver rupee. Have to longshot to target to get
another silver rupee. Swim without the Iron Boots to get the other three silver
rupees. (Be careful of the strong current.) A chest will appear. Get out of
the water, open the chest for a small key, then; go through the door you were
nearby when you got the fifth silver rupee here. Kill all the enemies and a
chest of arrows will appear. Use the Megaton Hammer to get rid of all the
statues. Press the switch so the fire will go away. Open the chest for a small
key. Shoot the eye with an arrow to open the door. Go through the door. Shoot
the eyes of the statues with arrows as you see them or else the red in the eyes
will disappear and you?ll have to shoot them over again. A chest with a small
key inside will appear. (Longshot to the chest, then, longshot to the target on
the wall to get away from the statues.) You?re supposed to play the Scarecrow?s
Song so you can longshot to the scarecrow, but since I can?t, let?s return to
the entrance pf this place, shall we? Go through the door on the left. Kill
the Stalfos in 1 minute to make a chest appear. Inside is a small key. Go
through the door. Get all the silver rupees in 1:30. Watch out for rolling
boulders and fire. Go forward and right at the second hallway, then go right to
silver rupee #1. From the entrance, longshot to the target on the ceiling for
#2 and jump from up here to get #3. # 4 is on one end of the hallway on the
left; #5 is on the other end of this same hallway. A door will open. Longshot
to the target on the ceiling near the door to get over the fire. Go through the
door. Kill two Wolfos and two White Wolfos so a chest of arrows appears.
There?s an evil door here. Use the Lens of Truth to see through the wall above
the evil door. Longshot to the targhet. Pres the switch to open a door. Get
out of this hallway-like area, and using the Silver Gauntlets from the pirit
Temple, push the block out of the way. Go through the door. Kill all three
Like Likes. In order from closest to the door to farthest, contents of the
chests are as follows: gold rupee, five rupees, (invisible chest) small key, and
an evil chest that freezes you. Go back to the previous room. Go through the
door near the switch that opened the door you just came from. Go through the
door up here. Open the chest for a small key. Go back to the entrance of the
place. Go through the door you haven? yet. Unlock the door on the left.
Continue unlocking doors this way. The last chest in this place has Ice Arrows
in it.

Getting Epona
Talk to Ingo. Pay 10 rupees to ride the horses for a limited time. Ride Epona
a bit. (Play Epona?s Song to call her.) When time is up, go back in and get
Epona. Talk to Ingo. He will want to race. When you beat him, he will want to
race again. Beat him again. He doesn?t want you to take Epona, so just jump
over the gate and leave.

Getting the Biggoron?s Sword
As Adult Link, go to the top of Death Mountain and talk to the big Goron. (See
Pocket Cucco to see how to get Cojiro) Go to the Lost Woods. Go left. Use
Cojiro to wake up the creepy guy, who will give you an odd mushroom. You have a
few minutes to give it to the person in the potion shop in Kakariko Village.
(The door to the place is behind that fence area near the windmill. You can?t
use warping songs. You must just use Epona and run to Kakariko Village that
way.) This creepy lady (There?s a lot of creepy people.) will give you an odd
potion. Go back to where the creepy guy was. Talk to the girl to get a
poacher?s saw. Go to Gerudo Valley and give the boss carpenter dude (Who?s also
creepy.) the poacher?s saw for a broken sword. (That?s not a fair trade.) Show
the Goron on the top of Death Mountain the broken sword. He gives you a
prescription. Now go to Zora?s Domain (Tired, yet?) and get the eyeball frog
from King Zora. Before the time runs out, give the eyeball frog to the person
in the lab in Lake Hylia for the world?s finest eye drops. Once again, before
time runs out, give them to the Goron on the top of Death Mountain. It takes
three days for him to give you the Biggoron?s Sword, so play the Sun?s Song a
few times, unless you?re feeling patient.

Getting the Big Poes
As Adult Link, talk to the guy in the building at the entrance of the Market.
He will buy Big Poes from you. Once you sell him all ten, you?ll get an empty

Navi turns green for no apparent reason.

Selling Masks
After talking to the guard in Kakariko Village, the Happy Mask Shop will open in
the Market. Sell the Keaton Mask to that same guard, sell the Skull Mask to the
Skull Kid in Lost Woods who thinks his face is plain, and sell the Spooky Mask
to the kid in the graveyard at day time. After the bridge is fixed (as Adult
Link), find the running man in Hyrule Field. When he stops running, talk to him
