Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven User Reviews
The stealth kill animations are great, new moves you can learn, 2 player co-op and deathmatch, etcThe bad:
the camera is sometimes frutrating, the controls for the game has been changed a bit.Summary:
This game is very enjoyable, the stealth kills are fun to watch, and they are never longer than 5 seconds, so it does not really get repetitive and frustrating to watch. the addition of abilities you can learn makes the game more fun and alittle easier to fight head on unlike the other two games.
At first i wasn't to sure about the 2 player co-op would be alot of fun, but once played it, it was just great, me and my friends had lots of fun.Something i liked was that the physics of the game was pretty darn good in terms of combat. When you send the enemy flying (which is a bit easier to d...
The fact that this game has returned to the truly stunning form of the original and skipped over the horror that was Tenchu 2.The bad:
This is probably one of the finest games around. Whilst the graphics, beautiful though they are, are perhaps not the best in todays market, the gameplay more than makes up for it. And truly, how important are the graphics, how many truly beautiful game have had the gameplay of a smashed conker? Zone of Enders anyone? Tenchu has gameplay by the bucket load. Wether creeping up on a patrolling ninja and slitting his throat or beating Onikage (yes, he's back again) with a combination of thrusts and slashes, this game rocks! It blends weapons and stealth with the finest of touches, and no matter...
The graphics are good (for a PS2), the stealth kills are very intriguing to watch and they make the game very interesting and fun, the story is followable and easy to understand. There is also a large variety in the levels and multiple ways to complete them. The bad:
The scenery is hardly interactive and is very blocky. Also, although this is a Ninja-game you can play the game like Rambo.Summary:
Overall this game is good for about three months but then you've completed it and 'Grand Mastered' every level so in the end this game has no replay value but is still a good one to rent, rather than actually buy.
Also, the dificulty is a little too low for your average stealth game.
However, certain levels do take effort to 'Grand Master' and these can keep you occupied for quite a while.
Great Stealth kill sequences, great moves, graphics, enemy a.i.The bad:
Camera angels can get frustrating, takes a little getting used to the controls.Summary:
I only got this yesterday and am on the second level, the graphics are great and the enemy a.i. is good to, so far I havent needed any items but they all look good. It isn't to hard as the enemy can't really stand up to you if you have a full stealth kills metre. But this game has been great fun and the three charachters look sure to make it last a while. The camera can get frustraing and its a pain to take on more than three enmys at once cuz u hardly get a chance to attack but all in all it looks great so far,I hope that the items get more useful and I get a few knew weapons although Riki...
Pretty good storyline, fun multiplayer mode, fun missions, Nice musicThe bad:
The AI is not so good! In order for the guards to actually go after me I have to be right in front of them.Summary:
The game is pretty fun. I like being able to do storymode as different charecters. The missions are pretty difficult!
The multiplayer is really fun. There are different modes. The missions in the Co-op are also awesome. I especially enjoy doing the boss level. It's difficult but its fun to try.
The game's missions are hard. I've done em already em but they are not only hard but they kinda confusing to figure out.
I also like earning special moves like Wrath of Heaven and stuff like that.
The music and sound is pretty cool too. It's got a pretty nice background soundtrack.
Overall I think it's a ...
Level details over all graphics, musicThe bad:
Controls (only minimal problems), Story line.Summary:
This is a great game and i think has to be one of the best ninja games out there. The graphics are great and the details make the suroundings look and feel just like fudal japan. A techno/acustic style music really sets the mood for slipping around corners and perching on roof tops trying to stay in the shadows. The controls are set up for stealth movement in mind, which is great while you are playing the levels and taking out gaurds with these smooth cut sceen stealth kills. The problem with the controls come in when you are thrown into a boss fight somewhere in the level in which you ...
