The Tenchu Tradition Continues

Summary:

INTRO

TENCHU 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins is an excellent new chapter in the incredibly unique and original Tenchu game series. In this follow up game to the immensely popular TENCHU: Stealth Assassins, the developers improved greatly in numerous aspects although unfortunately they left a few key things out. Tenchu 2 is an excellent game nonetheless and is far from disappointing as numerous follow-ups tend to be. In my opinion it is worth every penny and will be a welcome addition to anybody's collection of games regardless of preferences.

STORY 10/10

this game rocks

The good:

i love this game, quite possibly the best game ive playeed in a while

Summary:

this game rules, ive played alot of games but very few have i liked this much. the story is excellent and the moves are great. there is nouthing better than a stealth game. the kill moves make the game more realistic. the only thing i would change is that you should be able to kill the bosses in stealth as well as the regular enemys.

Some new additions, but not quite as perfect as the original

The good:

Everything is amazing! Swimming, bonus levels, new weapons, better graphics, better kills

The bad:

Dodgy AI, sticky camera, and getting spotted when you shouldn't

Summary:

If you have never touched this game, put everything down, and go buy it and its prequel, because you will want to be prepared when Tenchu 3 comes out. This game is intense. You are a Ninja, not like that other game. You are a stealth-laden sword stabbing killing machine.
You can leap from rooftops, snap spines, impale unsuspecting victims, and even decapitate innocents (points get deducted, but oh well, how's about a nice blood bath.) The voice overs are amusing in their stereotypical melodrama, but the real aspect that shines through it all is the gameplay. Cats meow at you, dogs bark and ...

Part 2 not all that...

The good:

I liked some of the new weapons, like the blow dart and fire splash. Also the swimming and breathing under water was a good element. I also liked the way the ninjas look when the duck.

The bad:

There where a couple of things I didnt like about this game, for instanc I found that prt 2 is aimed at a younger audience. For example theres more bright stages, some goofier enemy's, and less or no"assisiation" like missions like prt1. Stupid blinder enemies, no music, the camera messed me up at times, because somehow the camera ends up behind me while doing a mission, it harder to reuse the rice like in prt 1, once they pick it up here, its gone. The attacking also bothered me a bit to, cause you'll attack them and they'll end up behind you. The acting was so-so . This game also reminds me of the Ninja Turtles with your young ninjas and their master, plus the bad ninja clan planing to take over the world. I didnt like a couple of the stages because there mostly outside in a wooded area, not much mansions or castles. Finally I wish they would have put a De-bug mode like in prt 1, that was an off the hook secret.

Summary:

When I first heard about Tenchu 2 coming out I was like"yea, more new assisination missions" but after the first day I was like"umm...?". This game didnt have my expectations and felt like a 3-d version of a Nintendo game with stealth. But on the good side I was pretty fond of some new stealth kills and stealing the enemy's weapons and dragging their corpse. I just hope Tenchu 3 takes the good of both parts and puts it in one.

Tenchu 2

The good:

Great death scenes, decent story line (the death uis better), kool maps, mission editor is always a plus, and nifty items. that's right, nifty.

The bad:

Somewhat repetative, horrible dialogue, too much like a samurai movie and that's about it.

Summary:

Honestly a great waste of time.See how many hours go by trying to get grand master on all stages and making the most difficult (but not impossible) stage ever and youll find that youd been better off goin to work. lol, j/k, a great game all around, if you havent tryed it.... well then you should. Buh-bye.

tenchu 2

The good:

everything

The bad:

nothing

Summary:

I think tenchu2 is the best platform game i have ever played on.I think the story line is brilliant the charectors are wickid.I think some of the best bits of the game are the stealth kills and the items and all the differnt enemys the blood is cool and the bosses are kick ass.The anly draw back is that you can only be three players becouse like once you've compliated it with the all three players you should beable to be lady kagami or genbu, zusaku are someone else like that. But averall it is a woop ass game.
