Super Fire ProWrestling is the first Super Famicom (SNES) installment in Human's wrestling game series, and was designed to take advantage of the 16-bit console's capabilities with updated graphics and an all-new game engine. The game features 21 playable characters based on real wrestlers from the All-Japan Pro Wrestling promotion.
 AJPW Issues
The game skirted around the lack of an actual publishing license by using likenesses of All Japan Pro wrestlers/personalities for its roster of playable characters. Unfortunately All Japan Pro Wrestling founder and iconic wrestler Shohei "Giant" Baba himself took serious issue with Super Fire ProWrestling using even likenesses, forcing the developers to omit characters inspired by him in all future installments.
