If Konami didn't invent the run and gun genre, they at least managed to popularise it with the Contra series, even these days (though please forget the existence of the PS1 titles). Games like Metal Slug and Gunstar Heroes owe a lot to Contra 1 and 3 (just by the way, who actually cares about Super C) in the way they're shaped and how they're played. A great old Western type of game that you will not find anymore in the new video game generation. This game brought something different from many SNES shooting games and that's easy multiplayer action. In many SNES games, the multiplayer was complicated and not always easy to use. The only bad thing I found in this game was the difficulty. It was a fairly easy game and you could beat it one player if you put your mind to it. Other than that, nothing was wrong.Summary:
Buy this game. It's one of the greatest shooting games I've ever experienced and you will surely enjoy every minute of it. It's very rare to find, but I'm sure you might get a chance to play it at your local arcade or something, but remember you need to play this game because I am about 99% sure you will like it.
