Star Wars: The Clone Wars User Reviews
Excellent Conquest modeThe bad:
Hoofin' it with crippled charactersSummary:
Feed me to the Sarlacc pit for heresy, but i actually prefer Clone Wars' terrestrial take on dogfighting to the traditional but tedious X-Wing loop-the-looping. From assault walkers to Wookiee pack animals, impressive ground-based toys abount. Of these, half are such a pleasure to handle that even the ubiquitious escort assignments don't feel like mundane baby-sitting gigs. Plus, slick visuals give the game cinematic grandeur. Too bad, then, that some of the other segments look and play like a hodgepodge of aborted Star Wars projects tossed aside in the final moments of the 32-bit era. Just...
Good storyline, great use of the movies to do the storyline, alot of vehicle use ( Ships etc. ) Good multiplayer. The bad:
It's too easy, not much lightsaber use.Summary:
I rented this game and completed it in the two days I had it for. The game is very easy. The bad thing is that it is bad when you are on foot plaing as the Jedi with not much saber use at all throughout the game but using all these ships, speeders and that floating bike thing pulls this game out the gutter. The multiplayer also pulls this game up I found this game very enjoyable but if you are thinking of buying it I suggest you go with another game if you are looking for ground based action, but if you are going to rent a game and you are a fan of the movies or the other games give this a ...
Great, action-packed battles
Lots of varied missions
Many different ships to control
Several nice secrets to unlock
No challenge on the easiest mode
Some slowdown at times
Graphics: Solid and varied landscapes, good-looking ships and units, tons of enemies on the screen at the same time, some slowdown though, that weakens the overall impression
Sound: Good voices and sound-effects, tons of AWESOME Star Wars tunes, superb stuff, heaven for any Star Wars fan.
Gameplay: Very good control, lots of varied ships to steer, great variation in missions, amazing, action-packed battles, brilliant multiplayer. Pretty easy, though, but you got the possibilty to play on a higher difficulty.
Lifespan: Doesn't take long to finish, three difficulty levels, lots of bonus-objectiv...
The graphics are great and so is the sound effects. It's also a very fun game to play. Also an all knew multiplayer. You can unlock many new things by gaining bonus points in levels by completing an objective. The bad:
The sound effects are so good that sometimes you can't even hear Obi-Wan Kenobi or Mace Windi telling you what to do. It's also a very easy game.Summary:
This game was hard for me to hear what they were saying but it really doesn't matter. I beat it in about 3 days. Yes, it was that easy. Although, it has some cool bonus features which alow you to look at drawing sketches, watch the making of the game video, and listen to all 31 songs in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars. This game was my favorite Star Wars of all because you can go out on foot, drive your Republic Fighter Tank, speed off in the Speeder Bike, tear apart the Dark Side's ground forces with the AT-XT Assault Walker, wonder through the Kashyyyk forests on Maru, or blow up whatever y...
I think the graphics are good, and I hope that ppl will agree with me there. The bad:
Sometimes the controls are a bit shoddy. You go flying everywhere, and could shoot at a teamate if not careful.Summary:
All in all, I think this is a really good game. It captures the elements of all SW games that are out there, and I think the graphics are good.
The only thing I do not like is the control handling. But I do have to say, it is a Kick Ass game if you are a Star Wars gamer, like I am...
Star WarsThe bad:
This game was really fun to play, but way too easy to beat. I finished it in a day. There is some replayablity with the multiplayer portion of the game but other than that, I would say rent it before you buy. The Republic attack Tank has to be the best vehicle to use. It's very versatile and is pretty tough compared to other vehicles you will pilot.
