Star Trek: Shattered Universe User Reviews
Its a start trek game. Nice graphics and ship models. Attack runs on the starships are funThe bad:
Sulu becomes a real annoyance. Only 13 missions, If you pass them you don't want to repeat them. How many times do you get 25 minutes and at the last minute have a new set of enemies kill the Excelsior and have to restart the mission again as you can't save within it.Summary:
The Excelsior crew has to be the best or worse in the fleet. The repairs they do to get the Excelsior after every mission is amazing, BUT how come they can't fight there way out of anything and keep on having phasers, docking bays and sheilds blowing up by "accidents"?
I think there is no difference between hard, easy, normal levels which gets frustrating.
The missions have no imagination and rip off boring over used items from the orignal show like the world killer.
All you do it acquire new target and shoot, All you do it acquire new target and shoot,All you do it acquire new target and shoo...
Detailed graphics. The ships designs to damage they obtain, and when they explode. The backgrounds, planets, and meteors are detailed and almost realistic. The bad:
Little things like ships weapons dont always damage what they hit, and the missions are almost repeats of each other.Summary:
This game is a good step in the right direction for the Star Trek game lines. The game lacks in missions and the ships weapons don't always damage what they look like there hitting. The missions start to become repetitive. The games graphics are excellent. From the background to the ships and any damage they might have. The ships are colorful and detailed, right down to damage and when they explode. I can't wait to see if and what other star trek games tdk media active creates.
