Max Out Yer Boost

The good:

  • Great levels
  • Good selection of snowboarders
  • Uber tricks

    Summary:

SSX Tricky is the second game in the SSX franchise after SSX 1 was a tremendous hit when it arrived onto the PS2 back in the year 2000. Since then SSX Tricky has been given a few new tweaks to make it even better than before.

So how is SSX Tricky better than the original? Well firstly the tricks have became alot better. With the new Uber Tricks. Now when you have landed a few backflips and 720's you will noticed the bar on the right of the screen rising in colour. Get the bar to the top and your snowboarder will unlock some super cool tricks for the time being. Uber tricks are easy to use, s...

    The bad:

    ~ Still room for improvement

    Summary:

Ages ago, I was playing a demo disk at a friends house. SSX Tricky was the demo, and I fell in love with the game. This was before I had a PS2, and when I got one, I knew what game I wanted.
    This.
You see, I am not a big fan of sports, or sports games, but this is an exeption. SSX Tricky is one of the greatest games ive ever laid my hands on. I would reccomend it to anyone.
Despite this being an old game, it still keeps me entertained to this day.

Buy it now, you wont regret it.

    The good:

    THE GOOD:
Great graphics, similar to SSX 3, the chracter models are clear, the Superstar voices are absolutely awesome, the cstumes and different styles of boards are excellent as well. Audio - Perfection. Funny as hell DJ, Rahzel is the ultimate DJ, and nothing builds up an Uber Trick like hearing that Tricky theme! The tricks are pretty awesome, and pulling of tricks is easy. Races are challenging, and Freestyle alone is 2 weeks of your life gone away.

    The bad:

    THE BAD:
I only took off for one reason and that is age. SSX 3 deserves some accolade.

    Summary:

Well.... this game is 20 dollars now, like it's brother SSX. But this game is incredible in the selection of absolutely everything. There is nothing like unlocking new riders & tracks all along with extravagant replay value. I can't stress it enough for anyone who has played tony Hawk 3 to get this game.

    SSX Tricky

    The good:

The games sounds great. I loved it how the boards sound on ice. Tons of characters to unlock. Two all new tracks. Tricks are spectacular.

    The bad:

There are only three songs to a track. Not just one big playlist.

    Summary:

When I first played this game with my friend i thought it sucked. Boy, was I wrong. When I got the trick configuration down I got into. It became my favorite sports game. No sports game can compare to it. When I would go to my friend's house we would play 1080. I didn't like the whole healt deal, but SSX Tricky on the other hand the tricky meter which is so cool. I am not very good at doing the uber tricks but is fun when I do. I enjoy the character scenes at the start or end of the races. It really adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Another good thing SSX Tricky is the long cours...

    SSX Tricky for Xbox

    Summary:

For a game that's two years old and counting, I'm still simply amazed. This is one of the better Racing-type games I've played in my time, along with the realistic element of a snowboarding coast, real people [not the sqare, plastered-face smiley ones]. This is certainly a worthwhile rent, and I'm bold enough to say buy, if I've grabbed your attention by now.
