Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro User Reviews
More freedom than the constitution! I've beaten it twice and still there are places that I've only visited once or twice. The bad:
Plenty of bosses, but needs more. After you beat it, the only baddies to fight are thugs and green machines.Summary:
Overall an awesome game. Controls are a little shaky at first, but they get better. Another plus is that you can still earn abilities after you beat the game. Needs more places to go inside, seeing as there are only about forty places you can enter total. Mysterio is too easy. One punch and he's down, and he doesn't even fight back. Probably the most annoying part is that the characters never move their mouths, which freaks me out. But still, this is one of those games where you start, and then your hooked until you beat it. Maybe after too.
- Many types of Missions
- Enormous game world
- The freedom to go almost anywhere in Manhattan
- Loads of Moves to obtain
- Collecting everything will take many, many hours
- The remix of "Does Whatever A Spider Can" which plays during the Credits Sequence...Summary:
When most people think of film tie-in games, they think "oh for goodness' sake, not another one!", don't they? Well, those opinions don't matter, because this is the best film tie-in game, the best Super-Hero game and the best Spidey outing ever!
The control system is amazing. Almost all of Spidey's combos can be executed using four buttons! And there are a LOT of Combos to acquire with your "Hero Points", which can then be used to purchase whatever you need from the Spidey Stores.
So, we see the Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man taking on the less-friendly, not someone you would wish to have...
the graphics are pretty good at times, the music and voice-overs are good also(they got all the actors in the game Toby McGuire,Kirsten Dunst etc..)lots of missions to do and they are overall pretty fun and at the end of the day it's just plain fun!!!The bad:
the missions are reppititve you allways get ballons or stop robbers(it needs more mini missions!)Summary:
Hey! Just got a brand new game to review:Spiderman 2. Now this game is really good i can't see why some users are giving this game 2's!!The good stuff about the game is that you can go all over the place! You also get all the actors doing the voice-overs! You get enough things to do in New York. But there are some negatives to this game. One is that the missions are reppitive! You seem to do just getting ballons or stopping crimes.Overall if you like Spiderman than you will LOVE this game and if you don't well don't buy it i guess but you will be missing out on a great game for youre x-box!I...
- so many moves at your disposal
- wide open city with lots to see
- good animations
- no pop-up (suprising, since the city is huge)
- Bruce Campbell is back
- no lip syncing on some of the characters
- random crimes get b-o-r-i-n-g
- controls take a while to adjust
- graphics are just average
- short story mode
- hard to navigate through the city
- not enough secrets to unlock compared to the other SM games
This is a much better game than the first Spider-Man for PS2. However, there are still many problems. The story line is way too short and while the random crimes are fun they get too tedious. The controls were hard for me to learn. It was hard to navigate through the city with the minimap, you would constantly pressing select for the big map which takes you out of the experience. This was still a very fun game with great fights and a HUGE list of moves to learn. Excellent addition to the average movie.
the freedom you get in this game is just amazing....i mean sure, gta: 3, or vice city or san andreas you get to pretty much go whereever you want...but i mean c'mon WEBSLINGING AROUND THE ENTIRE FREAKIN CITY....thats just awesome! The bad:
The characters mouth's dont move when they talk
Side quests could be better
let us go in the buildings...more stuff to do..geeze
gets boring after you beat it
This game was truly amazing to me! The freedom you get, especiall gettin to swing around the city..really makes you feel like ur spiderman
but i think they should have made it to where you see like other superheroes flyin, swingin..whatever around the city. And that you could go up to them and help them....or just watch them....that would've been cool! I think the reason some of the bad things i put up there are becuz They felt pressure to release the game sooner than what they should have...because of the movie coming out.....therefore parts of it are worse than others
All around this ...
The title says it all, this game lets you do just about anything that spider man really can. not to mention getting to fall from over a thousand feet, whoo, what a rush. The bad:
After you beat the "Story mode" your left with a final quest to get 50K worth of hero points. once you play the game you'll find out just how hard this is. when all thats left to do is stop stupid robers and save balloons, you'll get bored quick.Summary:
All in all, this game is great. i wouldnt buy it unless you like swinging around a huge city all the time, more of a game you should rent. Game play gets repetitive but the story seems refreshing and ties into the movie. The controlls are really quite easy to get used to and the actors from the movie give the voices that extra touch. i have to give this game a three out of a five because of what your left to do when the story is all said and done. so get out there, rent the game, and have a spider-riffic time!
