Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver User Reviews
The game was as scary as hell. That is useing the biblical meaning. The world is huge, the hero is unforgettable, and kain needs to be kicked in the bawls. The music is good, almost too good. this game reminds me of a scary movie. The kind that experts give two thumbs way up in the sky. Another good thing is its impossible to get a game over. you always go back to the octopus guy. You never actually die. Plus you have two health meters. The bad:
One night i was playing it at about 3:00 am and the music stopped and a vampire jumped from around the corner and i literally threw my controller at the TV it scared me so much. A video game shouldn't have that kind of control on a persons life. The oly other thing is you should be able to fight under water.Summary:
A definate must havve even if it is the first part of two games.
great storyline, nifty features(shifting realms is just awesome) and innovative puzzle featuresThe bad:
a little too easy and a cliffhanger of an ending but not really much elseSummary:
this is a great game for psone im relly surprised that a game this good looking could exist on that platform. even today with the next gen systems it is still worth checking out. the best feature has got to be raziel's ability to shift between the real world and the spirit world, that adds so much to the atmosphere and the gameplay. this game is definetly recommended if you own a psone, and if you have a ps2 it is still worth renting. the storyline of the game really draws you in. the fantastic world of nosgoth has its own mythos that is presented in the game through clever movies and inter...
Tizight game!!The bad:
Block puzzles, blovk puzzles and more block puzzles.Summary:
I loved this game and it was one of the very few games that I started that when I finished, I had all powers and items and had explored all the territory of Nosgoth. I finish very few games completely, usually I'm just eager to see the end. This game deserved to be done right. My only complaint was the block puzzles that took so very long to complete without a player's guide.
it's just so great being a vampire! and the storyline is excellent! And theres no other game quite like it
Not much but as it's getting pretty old the graphics sometimes look crap but thats not really a big problem.
And also sometimes it's a bit confusing when you first start playing it because of the seperate realms and warp gates but you will soon get the hang of it
If u have never played it i suggest u do so. If you play it once you will get hooked ( well i did anyway) and you will want to buy the other three games in the series!
*retreat from enemies
*no load time
*the enemies (I cant kill them!)
*the doors (hard to open)
*The satanist theme
I would`nt recomend Soul Reaver for little children. I is the kind of game that makes you jumpy and the enemies attack by suprise. It is`nt a Christian game at all. It has a satanist and acultic theme, but if you look past all of that the game is almost fun to play. (Especialy if you like mystery and challenges!)
I`d rate it 7 out of 10
