Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder User Reviews
Sound (Both Music & Effects)
Ideas (nothing ground breaking)
OK, so i'm 3 or 4 years too late, but it doesn't mean the game should be a dead topic.
Let's face it, Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder isn't exactly revolutionary - most of us have seen it all before on THPS3 (PS2 Version), so there's nothing ground breaking, which immediately effects the game's sales and a majority of user opinions.
In this game however, there are some of the most defined graphics that can be found on sports game on the PS2 (arguably not as time goes on). Not only are there great objectives and varied, colourful and well laid out levels, but professional, well known s...
Everything! The challenging single player mode keeps you entertained for days and days. The 2-player mode lets you challenge your skills against all who oppose you.The bad:
You have to play through career mode with every player to rise skill levels.Summary:
I highly recommend this game to all gamers. You can find this game for about 20 bucks, great deal for a great game.
Descent graphics, good snowboarders, long levels, cool tricks....The bad:
Very hard to pull off tricks, stupid objectives.....Summary:
I thought this game was ok. It has its ups and downs as I mentioned above. They had long, creative levels but the levels were very repetitive and very similar to the level before. They also had ridiculously stupid objectives. For example, one of the objectives is to know over 10 trash cans in under a minute. Just stupid things like that make this game a no buy.
Overall Outcome: Rent It!
Nothing. I cannot find a sigle god feature in this game besides the fact that the characters are real. The bad:
How should I put this? Everything in this game is horrendously horrible. Controls, gameplay, graphics, speed, etc. etc. etc..... are all extremely bad.Summary:
I rate this game a 1.1 out of 5. I hate this game to an extent high above "alot". Do not buy this game it will be a complete waste of money.
It's cheap.The bad:
That it has no chance to get alot of sales and that the graphics are not as good as SSX.Summary:
If you want a good snowboarding game then try out SSX. SSX has everything better. But please don't waist your money.
So much to do in one course. Challanging gameplay. VERY pretty graphics. The revert move is great! The bad:
Too many goals per stage, you can't really search for signs and things like that when you are always going downhill! Your boarder is sometimes hard to control, if you haven't already beaten the game and have your stats maxed out.Summary:
It is a GREAT snowboarding game. The only Snowboarding game I would choose over this is Cool Boarders 2001. But that is starting to change! If you are looking for a little bit of realism combined with insane stunts and combos, this is your game.
