The Planet: Mobius (or sometimes Earth)
The Villain: Dr Robotnik (or sometimes Eggman), bent on world domination.
The Hero? One blue wisecracking hedgehog who's faster than sound! SONIC!
Accompanied by his now numerous friends and allies, most noteably Miles "Tails" Prower (a twin-tailed fox with the power of flight and supreme mechanical skills) and the firce Knuckes the Echidna, lone Guardian of the "Master Emerald" - one of several mystical gems upon which Dr Eggman constantly attempts to get his greasy hands on, so he can use them to power his latest doomsday device.
