I think a lot of people are forgetting the fact that these are two dimensional cartoon characters. They don't have much intricate detail to begin with and if you really take the time to look at the characters in the game, you will find that the majority of realism is achieved through shading and colouring and not from the actual drawings themselves.

I'm not trying to be defensive, because I do accept and enjoy constructive criticism, but at the same time, I just wanted to clarify that fact.
