yo ho yo ho this game is good!!!

The good:

having such freedom to do what you want

The bad:

not being jack sparrow (damn you!!!!)

Summary:

POTC may not be based on the film as such but there are things that will remind you of the film plus its a really fun RPG. but with every game it has its faults there are two minor but never the less annoying aspects of the game the first is the game can end at any random time (manly juring loading times) making things a real bother if you haven't saved in a while and the second is the controls. they are real hard to master it takes a while to get used to them but overall this game is brilliant not for everyones taste but for those with a thurst for being a pirate you will go mad for this o...

Oh the Pirate's life for me!!

The good:

The open ended career, the rep, the graphics, the sound, etc, etc.

The bad:

the many bugs that require you to save often

Summary:

Five minutes after I started the game I was ready to buy a boat and head for the high seas. The game is by far the most rewarding RPG I've ever experienced. The open ended storyline was great, don't get me wrong I've always had a love for Zelda and the kind but I've always wanted a game that combines the ultimate open endedness that is similar to the sims. You never have to end this game if you don't want to. There is a main quest if you feel inclined to follow it, but the joy is that you don't have to. If you want to be a trader, a bodyguard, or a pirate you can!! The addition of the Reput...

Too bad there wasn't a talking parrot to level up

The good:

Another graphically great looking game courtesy of Bethesda...easy ship controls and the "quick menu" came in handy.

The bad:

Compared to the Elder Scrolls games, PotC seems quite small to be truly considered a free form pirate RPG/RTS. There was no 'Create A Captain' mode which kind of took me out of the swashbuckling experience. The camera during the sailing mode could've used some work

Summary:

Pirates of the Carribean is probably one of the most graphically beautiful games I have played in a long time. Trademark Bethesda weather/lighting effects are aplenty here...setting sail at dawn or dusk look especially nice. The times when Hawk is on land are good, but the layout is too similar and variety is sparse. I guess it wouldn't be a problem if you have a palm tree fetish, weirdo. What really shivered my timber was that I couldn't create my own captain so I had to stare at Nate's butt crack showing through his pants whenever I got tired of sinking Class 6 ships or getting my whole f...

Potc Disapointment

The good:

This game is very good with the trading and seabattles can be fun once you get good at them.

The bad:

At the begening of the game it seems bad but the better you get the better it is.

Summary:

This game was origonally seadogs 2, a highly expected game in my mind, that is until disney changed it. In the begining i heard you could actually design your own character in seadogs, not in Potc, One of the worst most annoying things i found was the no strafe, strafe is almost my favorite movment in all games, you char can not turn around at all either. But once you get over all the bad things and glitches in the game it is very very enjoyable. Obvously this game was not even complete, many game glitches and all the goveners can talk busness with no busness to talk about. i would say...
