Resident Evil 4: Ultimate HD Edition User Reviews

Best Third Person Shooter that I've Played!

The good:

-Graphics
-Sound
-Atmosphere
-Level Designs

The bad:

-Minor Glitches
-Wii Control issues

Summary:

Resident Evil 4 was originally made in 2005, it's release on the Nintendo GameCube gave it excellent reviews, making it 'Game of the Year for 2005'. It was then ported to the PlayStation 2, which had then been included with extras, like an Easy mode, Separate Ways and an extra costume.

It was then re-released to the Nintendo Wii, with the extras the PS2 had and the graphics the GameCube had.

Let's start out with the plot. If you haven't played Resident Evil 4 before, the story kind of simply goes like this; Leon S. Kennedy has been dispatched to go and rescue the President's daughter, Ashley...

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition Review

Summary:

Resident Evil 4 is an Action/Shooter that replaces the familiar zombies with the parasite-infected 'Ganados'. Now for the detailed review....

Graphics:
The Graphics of Resident Evil 4 are quite solid, and everything looks very detailed. Whether it be blood dripping, a flaming torch, or a horrific monster, everything looks good. Resident Evil 4 has some of the best graphics in any game on the Wii. The only problem I had was a little bit of lagging, but it almost always went away quickly. Graphics get a 4.0.

Sound:
The Sound is also very solid, and the voice acting is actually tolerable in this R...

Resident Evil 4 - The classic is back, but for good or the worse ?

The good:

It IS the best Resident Evil in the series
Gripping storyline
Has many twists and turns
You can go through story mode 7 times and still want more

The bad:

The wii's controls have made it a bit easier
Graphics haven't improved

Summary:

When Resident Evil 4 first came out on the Gamecube a few years ago, it changed gaming history with interactive cut scenes and mind blowing graphics. With that success Namcom have decided to bring it to Nintendo's new console the Wii, but is it for the good or bad ?

Ill start with an overview of the game. You are an government agent called Leon Kennedy, and is looking for the young president's daughter who had been kidnapped. A sighting of her has been seen in a rural Spanish village and is your job to investigate. Straight from the beginning, you are thrown into the action with a crazy axe...

Incredible game

The good:

- New Wii controls add a new layer of engagement and depth to an already deep, immersive game.
- Content previously exclusive to the PS2 version and the superior graphics from the Gamecube version.
- Amazing atmosphere and intensity.
- Superb style.
- Top-notch presentation.
- Good length.
- Decent challenge provided.
- Good voice actors and enjoyable characters.
- Excellent frame rate.
- Budget price

The bad:

- Outdated visuals

Summary:

When this game was in development, I had my fair share of concerns. I was expecting a full-priced $50 game, directly ported from either the PS2 or GC version with tacked-on waggle for the knife attacks and no option of aiming to the pointer. It might sound like an exaggeration, but it actually has happened before. Shameless companies like Ubisoft have ported ridiculous amounts of terrible ports made more frustrating and somehow uglier, even if they ran on inferior hardware (such as Far Cry). I am happy to say that Resident Evil 4 is nothing of the sort.

First, this game is not a direct por...

A Great Storyline ->A Must Get!!!

The good:

->Great Storyline
->Brilliant Atmosphere
->Gripping Game-play
->Huge Lifespan (Replay Friendly)
->Innovative Controls

The bad:

->Easy Boss Fights
->The death of 500+ Granados (Not!)

Summary:

This is yet another great game in the Resident Evil franchise. Capcom have done it again, the storyline is brilliant, the action is well paced and the atmosphere has an eerie edge. We see Leon S. Kennedy, from Resi 2 make a comeback, as a special agent sent to locate and retrieve the presidents daughter from a cult group set on world domination.

The game begins with you being dropped off at a village, expecting to have an easy ride, however Leon soon realizes he is an unwelcome visitor. The action begins almost instantly and you find yourself, shooting wildly at the 15 or so Granados cr...
