Can't escape! From tomorrow!

Summary:

Escape from 2D.
If you owned a fifth generation system back in the day, chances are, that was the only one you owned. If it was the Nintendo 64, then I bet you took a look at the Rayman 2 box and wondered where Rayman 1 was. Well, that was originally going to be released on the Super Nintendo, but that port was cancelled because cartridges just weren't good enough for it when Ubisoft caught a glimpse at what CDs had to offer. Rayman 2, thankfully, didn't suffer that same fate as it was released on anything not manufactured by Sega, and I'm grateful for that because otherwise, I would've had ...

The Purple French Rabbit-Like Thing Returns!

The good:

High-Quality Graphics
Interesting Storyline
Sometimes Good Music

The bad:

Too hard in some places...but heck, it's Rayman - what can you expect?!

Summary:

Without any shadow of a doubt, France's best ever game series, in my opinion, is the Rayman series.

This game is slightly easier than Rayman's unfairly hard debut, but is still a nightmare in places. Mnay features return, including floating Plums, projectile Fist attacks and the ever-annoying Antitoons - apparently some of them survived even after Mr. Dark's defeat - and, of course, the ever popular Helicopter Hair which makes Rayman so special...well, that and the fact that he ahs no arms, legs or neck...

With brand new enemies such as the evil Captain Razor-Beard, a great and gradually-deve...

Not much of an escape

The good:

Easy to pick up and start
Graphics
Sounds
Plot

The bad:

Can be pretty hard and frustrating at parts.
At times, the music is virtually non-existant

Summary:

Lastability: 7/10.
Along with a hard and sometimes frustrating main quest, you also have to collect a lot of these gold things called Yellow Lums. I'm afraid there's only 1 sidequest to the main quest.
Graphics: 8/10.
Rayman looks pretty unique, and is a better effort than Tonic Trouble's.
Sound: 6/10.
I really don't like how, in some parts, the music is hard to hear. What you can hear, would have to be some of the greatest musical scores the N64 has ever come up with. Voice acting is decent at best, talking gibberish though.
Gameplay: 8/10.
Aside from the hard and frustrating parts, this game ca...

An interesting game...

The good:

Graphics is great, the sounds are good, the gameplay is cool, the music fits in well, controls are great as well, Rayman is back, this time it's 3D graphics, good enemies and bosses.

The bad:

Nothing really, but there is no lock-on target while shooting the enemies. When you are riding on Rayman's friend, It's hard and frustrating to control with the dreamcast controller.

Summary:

This game is better than the first Rayman and Rayman Arena. The graphics are better than the N64, the Playstation, and the Pc version. I don't know why people never notice Rayman 2 on the dreamcast or they didn't notice the dreamcast. This game is cool because the gameplay, graphics, 3D graphics, sounds, music, controls, and more and more. I would rate this game a 4.9/5

The People at UBI Soft Deserve a Big Hug!

The good:

This game is so fun. I love the Zombie Chickens. There's a lot of Lums to collect. The plot's kind of cool. Some of the music is good.

The bad:

They won't let you use the camera sometimes. It makes an annoying sound and makes me so mad!... This game is kind of odd. Apparantly Yay means yay, yahoo, wahoo, and many other things. Some of Rayman's talking annoys me.

Summary:

Actually, there's a lot more good in the game than bad. I love Razorbeard! *awkward silence* What? He's cool. I like the way most characters talk. It's cute. Globox is cute, too, with his little rain dance. The cut scenes are usually kind of funny. When Rayman's weird, little language doesn't creep me out, he's so cute. *hugs the Rayman 2 manual* Awww! There are a lot of areas in here, but not 45 like other things say so. I counted and got around 30. Liars! I only paid $20 or $30 for this, and it was really worth it.

Rayman 2: Revolution

The good:

Cute Graphics {although different to the Dream Cast version}

The bad:

The characters aren't likable, the gameplay is boring. Just too alike the Dreamcast version ;-(

Summary:

Sorry all you Rayman fans, this game just doesn't make it for me. I loved the DreamCast version of Rayman 2 but this game just doesn't cut it for me. Sure the graphics are cute but despite it being the revolution, it's just so much more similar to the dreamcast version than I wanted. I don't know if i don't like it because I played it before but you can make your own opinion. I think it's not good enough ;-(

Although, i've got to say the music is ok, you can hum along. Also, the graphics are cute, i like them! They say it's a revolution to the way people see Rayman, I don't think they though...
