I remember playing through Ratchet And Clank: Size Matters on the PSP, and having a lot of fun with it, despite the PSP lacking two analogue sticks. While it made camera navigation hard, it was at least fun. It felt like a real handheld game; the sort of game that was meant to be carried around and played during family trips. Looking at scenery gets boring after a few minutes, and repeatedly going "are we there yet" for the next 7 hours would frustrate parents to hell and back. Give the little shit a PSP with Size Matters, he'll be thrilled while you and your wife/husband/roomie/17-year old...
Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is the first R&C game to come to the PSP with a reasonable and acceptable story which is focused around a little girl name Luna who is kidnapped whilst talking to Ratchet as she was trying to get photos of her heroes in action, they (Ratchet), decide it is only there right to go on and save her from the people who have kidnapped her.
