Eternal Ring User Reviews
Most of the game, the graphics, the detail that has gone into the enviroment, controls, and for the most part, the gameplay. The bad:
The fact that everthing was a bit slow, the movement was a little slugish, but nothing too bad. Some of the time the game left you wandering around without giving you a clue where to go, or what to do. That's about all though.Summary:
A good game all round I think, decent storyline, although I think it may have been rushed in parts. Combat is fairly basic, but still enough to keep you playing - I think half of the fun was collecting gems and creating magic rings to defeat the next boss you came along. Controls and movement were decent, and easy to get to grips with. If you're looking for the next FF though, you're looking in the wrong place - This game uses real-time combat and uses not even half as much speech. Overall though, it's a fun and addicting game, with some cool graphics an gameplay to be discovered, I suggest...
Intro video was decentThe bad:
Everything else pretty much suckedSummary:
Combat was pathetic at best, monsters had no more than 3 attacks (most having only 1) lots of glitches, combat was supremely boring, characters voices were totally off (mouths kept moving for seconds after voice audio was finished)
There was a cool lookin dragon or two though, not that it was worth it wasting all that time just to see them.
its good in every way and is absalutley great. I hope they make another game like this in the futerThe bad:
waiting until a level high enough to make summoning gems but is still the best game I ever playedSummary:
I dont think it could of possibly been any better because this is a game that totally amazed me more than any other game i have played in the gameing of the ps2.
The graphics are astounding for an earlier release. The first person is very detailed and realistic to the motions, the reaction was simply amazing. The ability to merge rings and gems to create new magic is a great bonus, the magic system and battle is basic, although it does the job.The bad:
Most of the surroundings got annoying, atmosphere in this game became more of a nuisance than any of the monsters. Control was a bit weak, yet stable, and the boss fights and experience levels were too easy for a gain.Summary:
In short, it all comes down to what type of gamer you are. If you're into first person/fantasy, you might be willingly sucked into its superb and spicy style. This game is quite the looker, visually, and pretty much original in comparison to most games on the market. This one stands alone from the rest, most definately, but my advice is to take a look at your perspective of play, then look at the balanced grace this game has to offer. Most won't be let down by Eternal Ring, that, I may reassure you.
Nice graphics. Fun to playThe bad:
Wasn't that challanging. Advantanced monsters weren't too hard.Summary:
I really enjoyed beating this game. I just wish it had a better and harder ending. I ended the game without using or trying a lot of the stuff I collected. The hidden dungeon was the hardest and most challanging part which I enjoyed the most. I wish ending wasn't as easy as it was.
