Pokemon; unrestrained and hungry for glory

Summary:

Bugger the fancy intro – I *bleep*en love Pokemon Crystal!

Granted, most Pokemon games tend to be good, so it's not as if you buy a Pokemon game and get upset when it's shit because that never happens. Even if you don't like half the new Pokemon or find most of the additions superfluous at best (usually the case for me since Ruby and Sapphire, though the physical/special split, online and better AI are godsends if you ask me), it's nevertheless a good thing that you can go into a new Pokemon game and be assured that it'll at least be competent. But none of them will ever top Pokemon Crystal ...

Awesome game

The good:

the graphics, and the places that they don't have in gold and silver

The bad:

you can't catch celebi

Summary:

I like this game, if it wasn't obselete I'd advise you to buy it. I hope in the future they make a remake of this game just like red and green. I'd say 2 thumbs up for it. It may be 3 years old, but I still shout "Pokemon Crystal is the Best GBC Game!" ...

pokemon crystal

The good:

you can catch suicune without having to go searching for it and also you can get rare candys for free off the password radio station.

The bad:

instead of being able to catch ho-oh easily you have to go catch the legendary dogs first.

Summary:

i think it would have been a lot better if celebi was part of the game and you had to battle it instead of having to get celebi from an event.also i think it would be better if suicune wasn't so hard to catch because when i battled it it was on low health and alseep but when i tried to catch it it kept breaked even though i used a ultra ball in the end i got so annoyed with it i just used the master ball i had which i was going to save for raikou or entei.i also think it would be better if raikou and entei were easier to find for the first time.

Sadly, Just another remake.

The good:

New Stuff - you choose BOY/GIRL
- MUCH easier to catch Suicune
- The BATTLE TOWER, baby!!
- The Move Tutor, which can tach some great moves
- You can't catch Ho-Oh if you haven't caught
the legendary Cats/Dogs/Gerbils and Lugia
- new, much improved Ruins of Alph

The bad:

- Storyline!
- Replayability
- Pokemon League
- "Gotta Catch 'Em All" Need I say anymore?

Summary:

Yep, Guess what? Yet another remake of an already exsistant pokemon game which generally includes some bonus features in it that supposedly make the game some-what better. However, I didn't notice much of a change in Pokemon Crystal from Pokemon Gold/Silver. Read on to find out more ;

Controls: 8/10
I thought that the controls were pretty easy to use and, like all pokemon series games, was pretty easy to remember. Seeing as the gameboy colour only has four buttons and directional buttons, what else would you expect?

Same tried-and-true system of the Pokemon series, with a f...

Crystal Version its good

The good:

Summary:

So, the colour could be better. What would you expect from Gameboy Colour? For it's gameboy, this game is good, and I'd reccomend it to anyone. The legendary pokemon such as Suicune are considerabely easier to catch and the pokemon moving add a certain "zing" to battles, this game is worth the trouble. And I can't express how happy I am that you can finally be a girl. Some would say that its the same as gold and silver, and in a way they are right, but the few differences that make this game Crystal are enough for anyone who wants it:)
