No One Lives Forever User Reviews
Excellent enemy AI; very challenging gameplay; good control layout; fast paced, intense action; awesome voice acting; hilarious cut scenesThe bad:
Very bland graphics (for 2003); frame rate slows down noticeably during intense firefightsSummary:
This game is so underrated. I don't know why people whine so much about the controls - they have the same analog stick configuration as Halo! And everyone raves about the control in Halo! The game is fun and very challenging. I play FPS games avidly every day, so I'm pretty good at them - NOLF, however, is giving me a good challenge. The AI is excellent - the enemies don't just stand there like idiots when you shoot at them. They fall to the ground, roll, hide behind things, attack in groups, etc.. The graphics are not too good, but it doesn't ruin the game play at all. My only big c...
Fun gameplay, cool objectives, cool weapons, good modes, ok multi-player and nifty levels...The bad:
Bad aiming system, repetitive and its basically a James Bond copycat....Summary:
I enjoyed playing this game although you can get the same thing by just going out and playing a Bond game which are better anyway. This game is seriously under-rated though. Its better than some people may think but then again, its just a Bond copycat which is probably why more people prefer Bond. After all, Bond is the original.
Overall Outcome: Rent It!
Good things about this game is that you Play as a chick, not a guy spy. You work in UNITY, a spy group. As you defeat enimies and beat long, sometimes confusing levels, you get more info about the game. Some levels are a pain in the butt while others, not so bad. You go against H.A.R.M. , a 60's big GANG, as you might say. It's still fun but, very frusterating. There's no Multiplayer but, you still have fun.The bad:
No multiplayer, frusterating, long confusing levels, and you can't pause movies.Summary:
Not the best graphics. You do get to change to have the best guns or change your ammo to Dum Dum ammo. You can blow up cars, pass dogs, give a smoke, sneek past gurds with bunny slippers, give dogs a mate, skydive, plus more. Have Fun!
EVERYTHING !!!The bad:
IT WAS TO SHORT ~_~Summary:
I loved this game. The heroine was soooo sexy and deadly. I`m really looking forward to the sequel on the PC. I really recommend it to anyone who really likes a great spy game. If you want excitment, comedy, action and just plain fun I suggest it, but be carful its sort of difficult, even at the very begining but that didn`t stop me from playing. Buy it or rent it and be prepared to play for along time because i`m sure you`ll get hooked on it like I did..... have fun.
Funny, some great gadgets and sexy lead character. The bad:
Point, shoot. Point, shoot. Point... you get the idea.Summary:
While very entertaining, funny and clever, No-One Lives Forever feels very dated. It's a bit like the original Doom: point, shoot. The gadgetary does help a little to vary the gameplay, but, at the end of the day, it's all very straight forward. Also, the characters look painfully thin. I've seen more meat on a veggie's toothpick. Buy it for the laughs, but don't expect it to last.
Very interesting game, holds my attention very well. Excellent gameplay! The bad:
No in-level save, funny conversation gets old listening to it many times.Summary:
