NFL Street User Reviews
-Ability to make teams and players
-Nice tackles and sacks
-'Gamebreakers' seem like Hulk on Drugs
-A bit corny at times
-Profile and Other differant Customs are on seperate spaces in the Memory Card
This game is the ultimate fun in a bag. You can see all your favorite players, in Street Football Attire!!! The Rosters are up-to-date and the Teams are. Now instead of whimpy tackles, you have hard hittin', bone breakin', and killin' hits!!! The sounds are nice when you hit people too. The environments look almost real when you play. And you also have alot of Taunts, but some of them are corny. The graphics are nice and you can make Teams and Characters, but all of those are on differant spaces in the Memory Card. But sometimes, even on Easy Mode, the game can get too hard. And what they ...
Easy to pick up and play. Some of the biggest hits ever seen in sports entertainment. The bad:
Turbo mode too good.Summary:
American Footy has been quite popular in England ever since 85 when Walton Paytons (and a Fridge) Bears played the Patriots, us Brits got a bit bored (too many breaks) then along came a guy called Madden on the megadrive and since then American Footy games have done alright in Blighty.
You'll have noticed I've mention Madden already, and its not just because the controls are the same, you see the biggest problem I think this good game has is that Madden etc have pick up and play aracade style elements to them now, plus they still have the advantage of simulation play.
Don't get me wrong this...
Gameplay; It's football the way you play after school on the field with your buddies.
Sound: Very lifelike sound effects. Players talk to eachother. But it would be nice if there were more variety of music.
(Challenge Mode)Difficulty: Sometimes this game can be a pain in the neck because of it's difficulties.Summary:
This is a truly great game. Fans of NBA Street and Street 2 might like this. It has all 32 teams plus a Legends team with greats like Walter Payton, Lawrence Taylor, and about 9 others. There are some other little teams to unlock. Unless you own this game and have mastered it it will be a pain because of difficulty. Overall I think everything else is fantastic... but it has a long ways to beat the Madden Series. Thank you.
Do considering purchasing, or at least renting this game!
Fun gameplay and good features good graphics and some fun yet frustrating gameplayThe bad:
you feel cheated at times by the opposing teamSummary:
The game is quite fun the season that you can do is cool becaus you can custimize everything about your team, but there one thing that really disappoints me and that is the fact that too often you drop wide open passes or just fumble the ball it leaves you feeling cheated. But don't let this review keep you from at least renting it or even buying it it just adds to the satifaction of finally beating the game plus it just makes want to beat so you can say you did. Plus there are some good unlockables such as teams, clothing, and of course making you team strong. One cool thing is that you s...
The concept is great. Its backyard football for the pros. I love getting to pick off Payton Manning as well as run him over for a TD. Kudos to EA for coming up with this idea. The bad:
The game should be called NFL Cheat.Summary:
There have been so many games where I was beating the hell out of the computer and all i needed was a 2 pt play to win the game. Then all of a sudden I dont convert and the computer scores 3 times in a row and I wind up losing the game AND the challenge and have to start all over. What a WASTE OF TIME! If I would have known I was going to watch my lead of 34 - 6 dwindle away to a loss I would have restarted the challenge as soon as I didnt get the conversion. Now that I have completed enough challeneges I usually wind up winning 40 - 17. The point is the game freaking cheats big time. There...
Gamebreaker, team control, soundtrack, game-talk.The bad:
Great play, gamebreaker keeps the game interesting 2 on 2 or 1 on 1. Great versatility with your team, you have the option to change almost anything, though sometimes at a price. Good overall soundtrack, including the taunts and celebrations the players shoot off. On the bad side, the points can get a lil confusing. It's a lil difficult finding out what challenges to do, so that you dont end up with no tokens and a half-@$$ team. The only other thing that would get annoying at all in this masterpiece of a game, is the ladder saving. After you beat one of the four teams, you have to c...
