Software RPG giant Square Enix announced today a new video game brand: Pure Dreams. This brand will focus on character-branded games.  It will launch with two new DS titles announced for Japan: Snoopy DS: Let's Go Meet Snoopy and His Friends, launching on October 9th, and Pingu Waku Waku Carnival, which will launch on November 6th, both in Japan.

Snoopy is the highly-recognizable beagle from the classic comic strip Peanuts, originally created by the legendary Charles M. Schultz. Pingu, on the other hand is the titular star of the Pingu Swiss animation series created by Otmar Gutman.  There is currently no word on whether or not these games or the brand will make its way out of Japan.
