A demo for Sins of a Solar Empire came out on last Friday, making Good Friday even better, in the eyes of many strategy fans. 

If you haven't heard of the game, think Master of Orion 2 in the style of real time strategy game. Personally, I bought this game last week and have been having a very fun time with it. While it takes a bit of time to get the hang of (actually didn't enjoy the game at first), it is a unique game, and should impress any fans of the 4X genre - not to mention many general strategy game fans.

The demo has the following features / limitations:

• Play as the Trader Emergency Coalition (TEC)
• Learn the basics through four tutorials
• Fight on two small scenario maps against up to two AI players
• Conquer a randomly generated medium map against up to three AI players
• 90 minutes of play time

I'm not sure if you can really get a good feel for the game in 90 minutes, but it is still worth checking out if you have been at all interested in the game.
