Metal Gear Solid 4 wins several "GotY" awards

Various publications and sites give MGS4 its dues
So neither Spike TV nor X-Play gave Metal Gear Solid 4 that coveted Game of the Year award, and fans threw hissy fits. Well, some magazine publications and major video game news sites have been handing out their own awards, and guess what? That's right, Metal Gear Solid 4 is finally being drowned in awards.
GameSpot and IGN are the only American media outlets listed, the majority being European. Here's the complete list:

Anway, props to MGS4...no seriously; it deserves the praise. It's likely the last game for a while where the characters really feel "alive".
