Developer releases new trailer for multiplatform version
With Sacred 2: Fallen Angel headed for Xbox 360 on March 24, developers cdv Software Entertainment USA and publisher Ascaron Entertainment have released a trailer showing off the look and gameplay of the console version. Of course the video is quite epic, so let's hope the actual game lives up to its preview.
For those unfamiliar with Sacred 2, it's an action RPG formerly exclusive to PC. At the beginning of the game, players can choose between two paths: Light and Shadow. Whatever you decide, your starting choice can drastically alter your character's experiences as you explore the open world. The six playable fixed-gender classes have their own unique equipment, as well as weapon-specific animations that vary for each class.
The new trailer is for the Xbox 360 version of Sacred 2, but it can't be much more different for the PlayStation 3. Shinier, perhaps. The three versions should be the same in terms of content, with a different user interface depending on platform.
Update: I've replaced the video with a hi-res version. The original lower quality trailer can still be found in the Neoseeker Videos section or here for your viewing pleasure.
If it's a multiplatform trailer, why is it for the 360 version?
... because the press release specified 360. I'm guessing that a PS3 trailer would be pretty similar, as the only known difference in each version is user interface.
