January seems to be the month of DLC.  Konami has just announced today a new team-based game mode for Metal Gear Online, coming January 27.

The new multiplayer mode doesn't bring any new ideas to the table but should still prove entertaining.  Teams will be competing against one another in the new Bomb Mission, where one is charged with destroying the area -- setting the explosives -- and the other must disarm the bombs before they go off.  Oh, and there's a time limit, so you guys better work fast.

Anyway, Konami also released a few screenshots to give us an idea of what the new mode looks like from both sides.
