    Damn right, This is an impressive display of the power of Video Games. Even now, with this worldwide recession, video games are one of the few industries still reporting vast amounts of profits.

    It looks like video games are for more than nerds, now.

    You have to realize though, that Games generally cost more than DVDs and even Blu-rays.

    So while the $$$ amount exceeded DVD/Blu-ray sales combined, the number of units sold was probably a fair bit less than DVD (but probably a lot more than blu-ray).

    Still, it does show how mainstream video gaming has become.
