Some of you may start celebrating on hearing that RIAA has dumped MediaSentry for Dtecnet.

You'd be celebrating way too early.

I am quite sure the reason that MediaSentry was dumped in favor of Dtecnet is that Dtecnet is a Danish company, and as such, not subject to requirements for a pesky private investigators license. Mind you, if US courts were not happy about *US* based unlicensed investigators, I'd think they'd be even less happy about foreign ones...
