Video game auction site supports Child's Play Charity Image 1

ChaseTheChuckwagon.com, the "premier video gaming auction site", has dubbed Child's Play Charity their official website charity. Child's Play, as you may know, is run by the guys behind Penny Arcade, and helps children in hospitals by giving them video games and toys.

Mike Kennedy, Owner of ChaseTheChuckwagon.com, mentions, "owning this auction site brings many rewards,  one of which is using the auction format to support one of the most deserving gaming charities on the planet".

You can do your own part if you like through the site, which waives auction fees if you plan on donating the proceeds to the charity, or any charity of your choice. The site owners as well as its members will have their own special auctions up periodically for rare, exclusive or special gaming items.

Charity auctions run for longer, too (30 days), which brings more exposure to a given charity.

The first one is up now -- an autographed copy of Super Fighter Team's exclusive Sega Genesis game Beggar Prince. This item was donated by Mr. Brandon Cobb, President of SFT.

For information about donating an item to auction off for this cause, please email: socalmike@chasethechuckwagon.com.
