There is no doubt that this game is full of actions, nonetheless, the sense of real fear was a bit lost in Resident Evil 4, I suppose and Resident Evil 5 should raise that classic fear factor along with the interesting twist storyline just like the classic Resident Evil 2 did in 1998.

Note: I personally think that Resident Evil: Code Veronica X was much more fearful and interesting to play than Resident Evil 4.

I no that this is a zombie but the A.I looks like crap especially at 26 seconds of the first video. With A.I like that the game will be a breeze. The graphics are good and all but it looks like a watered-down Gears of war, and it seems like it gets old quick.

I've never been huge into the series , but ya, I'm not sure what the idea is with Resident Evil 5.

The zombies are really smart, and they use weapons -- so are the still zombies?

From what I've seen, the game doesn't look that scary at all. This really does seem like a straight-up action game, and not at all a survival horror game, unless I'm missing something.

Yeah that was my first reaction, it seems like the whole shock and suspense factor has been eliminated in favor of repetitive action, but that's not what fans remember the series for. It seems quiet and dull, just move and kill, move and kill. Hard to judge for sure from brief gameplay videos but still, if this is what's giving potential buyers a first impression, it's important that you grab their attention and these didn't seize mine.
