Don't have a real job? No problem!
Adding to Nintendo's inventory of quirky games, Hudson Soft has announced a new life simulation title for the Wii called Help Wanted.
As the story goes, players in Help Wanted are sent on a mission to save the world from impending extinction by completing fifty different jobs. Jobs include Haunted House Monster, Clown, Make-up Artist, Pinch Hitter, Pizza Chef, Stunt Car Driver, Sumo Referee, Action Hero and Sushi Master, just to name a few. After completing each jobs, players can shop for items, whether for fun or to beef up their defenses for saving the planet.
"Help Wanted is out-of-this-world fun for the entire family" said Sabine Duvall, Vice President of Product Development at Hudson Entertainment. "If you've ever wanted to know what it's like to be a Sushi Master, a Boat Captain, a Body Builder and save the world all in one day - this is the game for you!"
Well, obviously Hudson wants you to buy Help Wanted when it launches in summer 2009. And if The Sims is any indication, this one might just suck you in even if you're rolling your eyes at it right now. Many gamers seem to have a thing for grinding for virtual goals.
