Other games playable in addition to Guitar Hero contest

Retail chain Target will be hosting the first North American Guitar Hero World Tour Challenge at E For All this weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Avid gamers and would-be rock stars alike can pit their skills against each other while expo attendees serve as their audience, with judging based on scoring, accuracy, and performance. Participants will be split into teams of four and compete to a list of the game's hit tracks, from Beastie Boys to Modest Mouse. Prizes include more than $2,000 in cash, Target Gift Cards, and other merchandise.
In addition to the Guitar Hero World Tour competition, Target will have playable versions of LucasArts' Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and an early preview of Ubisoft's Shaun White Snowboarding. Of course, Guitar Hero will be available to those who want to rock out off-stage.
The GHWT Challenge will be held October 3-5, and qualifying rounds start at 1:00 pm this Friday and Saturday. Finals will take place at 1:00 pm on Sunday on stage at the Guitar Hero Event Area, Booth #823 -- you can't miss it.
