Ten years later, one changed world later
You might have heard of Google. It is a popular 'search engine' on the 'Internet.'
Google gave itself a bit of birthday present, of sorts; launching a new website to commemorate the occasion. The website has a couple of cool features.
One cool feature is a timeline, stuffed to the cluster with interesting tidbits on Google trivia and assorted minutiae. Do you know what Project Back Rub was? (Hint: it wasn't a project about back rubs.) Did you know that the search keyword that was quickest to gain popularity in 2001 was "Nostradamus" ? Who could've predicted that.
A second cool thing about this Google birthday site is that it could end up making you $2 million dollars and help the entire human race -- especially if you're an especially smart, or creatively inventive human person. Don't Google it -- just watch this video:
Amazing to think that Google went from a pretty good idea in someone's brain, to the entity of Supreme Overlord Regent of the Internet, in only a span of about ten years. Not bad! Send me some stocks.
