Disgruntled users employ in-game tools to voice opinions
By now, many of you are already quite familiar with the controversy surrounding Electronic Art's Spore and the game's unfair DRM, followed by consumer backlash and rampant illegal downloads.
EA has tried to placate angry Spore players, but it's clear their efforts -- whether genuine or not -- failed to subdue all the animosity now directed at the company.
In response to EA's use of SecuROM, Sony's controversial CD/DVD copy protection product, some users are getting rather creative in voicing their protests against the restrictive DRM. Utilizing the game's very own Creature Creator, they've come up with some whacky creatures with amusing names and hilarious anti-EA descriptions:
At least EA can't say gamers don't have a sense of humor.
