Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball heads to Wii

Internet meme becomes a video game

Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball heads to Wii Image 1

Gamecock Media Group announced today that Blazing Lizard's Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball will be released this winter for the Nintendo Wii.

Granted, neither ninjas nor pirates have much to do with one another, but this alleged rivalry that spawned from boredom on the internet has caught enough attention to warrant a Wii game.  Harry Miller, President of Gamecock Media, seemed especially pleased with this upcoming title:

"The competition between the Pirates and the Ninjas is so huge that battles are breaking out all over. We’re happy to bring this grand conflict to the Wii, and give players the chance to help determine who the ultimate champions are."

Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball will support up to eight players and both a story and challenge mode.  Robots, zombies, and three other unannounced factions will be joining the ranks, and needless to say, each group sports their own unique style of play.

But does anyone really need a game to decide for them?  Ninjas, duh.

Don't call me a fool, you pirate-lover! And we can't duel because I haven't got a Wii. Guess we'll have to brawl IRL
