With a convenient all-in-one, three-spindle design including DVD or CD-ROM, hard disk drive and diskette drive, the Satellite 1700 series notebooks keep every feature close at hand. In addition, the Satellite's one-touch Internet access button gives users the freedom to jump on the Internet or access their e-mail in a snap.
Equipped with CD playback control keys, these notebooks also allow users to play CDs with the notebook lid closed and the power turned off. The CD playback function keys provide skip/search and play/stop capabilities, enabling users to access their music without interrupting what they were working on. Toshiba's crisp sound system with stereo speakers rounds out the multimedia features of the series.
