Screw the pooch much? They're just trying to secure a series that'll actually last.

There's no way in hell Fable can last 6 iterations. Only reason FF lasted so long is because they're really good at RPGs.

Well, you never know. TES has lasted through multiple iterations too. Just because it isn't a Final Fantasy type of series, doesn't mean it can't last....It all weights heavily on Fable 2's success though. If this doesn't sell like hotcakes, they can probably forget about many more sequels...

Wonder what that new game that came about from an experiment?

I wonder also, about whether there is an advantage to allowing people to mess with your world? If there wasn't, they wouldn't have let there be a feature to do that.....I suppose they could have made it so you and a friend could wreak havoc if you felt like it....

    That is totally debatable.

Red 9 I don't think you can compare ff to fable. They are totally different games, apples and oranges. And I'll probably buy fable 3,4,5 and 6 if they make them.

Interesting to see what they'll do down the path, the news about the game being wrapped was pretty evident at the MS conference when Peter said Fable 2 was wrapped so one would pretty much only expect QC to be going on at this point to make sure they didn't miss any critical bugs before taking it to pressing.
