As of the market close on Tuesday, June 3, shares were trading at ¥1,102 ($10.40). On Wednesday, June 4, after the news hit, shares were trading at  ¥985 ($9.30), more than a 10 percent decline. Today figures saw a slight decline, standing at ¥982 ($9.27), with a high of ¥1,005 ($9.49), and low of  ¥975 ($9.20).

Tecmo has stated Team Ninja will go on, and several new games are in development for both the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises.
