To better drive your video cards
NVIDIA has released a new WHQL (as in a 'official', non-beta driver) dri ver yesterday. You can get it over here.
This one might be a good idea to get -- the NVIDIA driver situation, since the start of 2008, has been a little bit chaotic. There have been a vertiable flood of beta drivers out. Something along the lines of 11 or 13 beta driver releases in the last 4 or 5 months. Yet the last WHQL release -- if my spotty memory is correct -- was the 169.22 driver, which come out in December of 2007.
Beside the usual refinement and increased compatibility, these new fancy drivers also add increased functionality to the PureVideo HD playback ability of the GeForce 9800 GX2, 9800 GTX and 9600 GT.
