Only thing that doesn't work on it is the guns
Made for the Halo movie, some film crew guys put together a fully functional Warthog -- and it looks like it drove straight out of Halo. Right now its a part of the Armageddon Pulp Expo, which is taking place in Wellington, New Zealand.
The folks from NZgamer.com took a bunch of pictures of the Warthog, and it the machine is pretty impressive. Down to the controls and the paint job, the 'RL' Warthog looks like an almost perfect replica of the Warthog from the games.
And yes -- it even drives.
It'd be great to take this down a New Zealand highway on a hot day. Maybe crash a rugby match or something with it. Fun times.
Especially if they are for public use, except that the banshee probably won't have any weapons. But, I really wouldn't mind using a Banshee instead of a car. And bubble shields, if improved from the game, could be used if you are caught in a burning buildings and protect you if the ceiling collapses.
Daaaamn. Me likes! Me likes ALOT!
